  • Has anyone received shipping notification yet ?. Mine is showing as Processing.

      I did, sent via AustPost.

  • Received mine - decent little machine for the money. Case scratched and dinged up as hell if that's important to you. Battery life not great as expected, but sufficient to last a couple of my daughter's school classes. Refurb = not even bothered to wipe down screen or keyboard. Overall happy for what I wanted it for.

The usual story for these types of "refurbs"…

  • I received mine today. The case is in pretty good condition, there are just minor scratches around. The screen and keyboard were clean. BIOS reports battery health is 79%.

The touchscreen does not work in Windows but it does work in the BIOS so the hardware is there. HID-compliant touchscreen is installed in Device Manager. All latest drivers installed with SupportAssist. Not sure what's going on, haven't had time to troubleshoot further. Has anyone else experienced this?

    • My display working ok…

      Name - intel(r) uhd graphics 620
      driver version 30.0.101.3111

make sure the hid touchscreen is enabled under device manager

      • No luck, my touchscreen still doesn't work. HID-compliant touchscreen is installed in Device Manager as I mentioned earlier.

I've restored factory settings in the BIOS and made sure the touchscreen is enabled. I also tried a fresh new Win11 install.

I then went through BIOSConnect to download and install the original Windows 10 system image from Dell and ran the Advanced Driver Restore in Dell Command Update to install the complete driver library, but it still doesn't work after all that.

Anything else I can do, @MetroCom?

        • Hi mate can you shoot us an email? We can work out something.

          • @MetroCom: Hi @MetroCom any chance there’s more of these models for the same price?

I bought one for a family member, 74% battery health which is fine as it’s basically being used as a desktop.

My laptop got water damaged today, so I thought I’d ask. Thanks

Got mine today and got lucky. Bios reports 100% battery health. Clearly the former owner of my laptop was not very busy at work!

  • Got mine today, won't turn on without being plugged in and setup says no battery.

    • Hi mate can you get back to us via email? Most likely yours has a new battery and the plug is not plugged in tightly.

      • I've already sent a message through the "Our Contacts" page, should I send an email as well?

        • Battery connector wasn't seated enough, it is working now.
