Was trying to buy a pair of cheapo thongs for our bathroom (yep, we were thongs in the bathroom cos it’s simply gross to walk in barefooted). Kmart was our go to for their $1.50 specials but every size is apparently out of stock when trying to place a delivery order with one pass (initial order goes through then gets declined via email stating out of stock).
So, wanted to see where OzB community get their cheapo pair of thongs during winter?

I'm pretty sure I also do this at 4am in the morning sometimes and not even remember.
Having said that, I do clean my bathroom once it a while and no, I don't go barefoot to the supermarket.

What are the thongs protecting your feet from in this situation? The splashback/dribble/whatever is coming from above, so your thongs are only really protecting against prior dribbles, not current ones.
I hate to break it to you, but your thongs aren't going to be much cleaner than your bathroom floor. Unless you literally leave puddles of piss around that you're standing in.

Some of the bathrooms in the government departments and a few private companies I visit tell me that yes some people are pure pigs and piss all over the seat, floor and walls. I am astounded any human can be so disgusting but the evidence is their every week so I imagine they are the same at home. however as someone else pointed out they will just be pissing on the top of their feet in thongs, so no better, what they really need is a full hazmat suit.

If you want cheaper than $1.50 - check out Savers. They occasionally do their 99c sales, and usually have a fair bit of stock (including closed toe varieties or even gumboots!)
Of course, beware of the section - they also stock the other type of thongs. Will never forget hearing there was a sign in Dandenong savers pointing to the section for 'second hand g-strings'…
check the discount stores for dollar shops.

Kmart is the best I seen. Have tried to buy Havainas from them many times but always no stock.
Anyway yes bedroom and bathroom are where I barefooted (and in socks during winter). If you can keep your bathroom clean regularly, it should be pretty clean. I did in rare occasion, if it happens the bathroom get cleaned straight away with disinfectant and dried.

I have 2 teenage boys they no longer miss the mark i cant work out why adult males cant hit the target.
Wont go into the details, but due to the biology of human body, unintentional miss can happen from time to time. It can be more prevalent for some people compared to others. It will most likely happen to your teenage son every now and then especially after long inactivity such as sleeping. But the proper ethical way is to lift the toilet seat when urinating and wipe them off when that "accident" happen.
