Pretty good price…how much for the 10 & 13.3 kWh systems?

    • +3

      Hey Ham Dragon,

Thanks for reaching out, with larger systems we need to check a number of things including but limited to:

      Roof Space
      Roof Splits
      Single or 3 Phase
      Export Limitations

This will ensure that the quote we provide you is accurate for your needs.

We are passing on similar discounts for larger systems as well.

To give everyone an idea please see below:

A 10kW system in Metro Melbourne with Jinko 440w Panels with a Sungrow 10kW Single Phase Inverter will start at: $3,999 Upfront after the Solar Vic Rebate of $1,400 and the Solar Vic Loan of $1,400.

Total customer cost: $5,400 after the Solar Vic Rebate

Similarly a 13kW system would be an extra $1500 roughly.

Please note there are a number of factors to consider with larger systems, distributor approvals for export, single or 3 phase, available roof space, splits on the roof and STC rebate amount based on the total panel wattage.

We always want to make sure we provide a accurate price and quote for our consumers. If one would like a property specific quote please get in touch. The pricing wont be far off the estimate.

      Cheers,

      Matt

        Thanks for the detailed response.

        Great info, thanks Matt.

  • Is it worth adding a Sungrow battery?

    • not sure about Sungrow. Tesla batteries ROI is approx 12 years. Warranty is 10 years. Can't justify getting battery.

      • Wouldn't recommend a Tesla one when they use NMC batteries and are too expensive compared to the alternatives. Payback period is still a bit long for others, around 7 years, but worth it imo.

    • Did the calcs on an 8kW system and the battery would push the ROI out another 10 years (6 years to 16 years), even factoring in non-existent feed-in rates. Decided not worth it, after 16 years who knows what system I'd be looking at.

  • +1

Would be great if you offered these deals to regional vic also

  • Any ballpark what a 30kwh system might cost?

    • +1

      Hey A s h,

Thanks for getting in touch. With a large 30kW system there are a lot of factors to work through before giving a price. A good indication is always $1k per 1kW pre rebate. Now that can also vary a fair bit based on the products and other factors.

However depending on site details, phases, export requirements, residential or commercial these case change the quote.

If you would like to discuss more feel free to get in touch with us via the website, 03 8322 9999 or email us on [email protected].

    • I'd like to see that too.

Time for us to upgrade our system as the 66c per kWh feed in tariff is over 😬 so need a much bigger system now.

  • Are you able to give a rough idea of how much extra it would be to install this system on a house in Wodonga, 3690 please?

    • Hey Boodek,

Unfortunately we do not service Wodonga currently.

With regional we travel approx. 100kms radius of Melbourne. The main reason behind this is to ensure that we can provide prompt after sales support and warranty to all our customers.

      Cheers,

      Matt

      • Do you have any personal recommendations for someone in Bendigo?

  • Is it worth and do you offer upgrading the inverter to fronius?

Have signed up for a quote

    • +1

      Hey SevenSmurfs,

Thanks for the quote request, yep can upgrade to the Fronius Primo Gen 24 5kW Inverter for an additional $1,200. Comes down to consumer choice re the units.

Fronius is made in Austria, considered the best in the market hence the price jump.

That being said they only offer a 5 Year Product warranty with the option to purchase extended warranty.

We see warranty claims for both Sungrow and Fronius and support wise Sungrow is brilliant, very quick to respond with local teams and units ready to be on site within a couple of days.

Fronius is also decent but a bit slower and they prefer replacing individual parts within the inverter rather than sending a whole new unit for warranty claims.

At the end of the day both units are solid units and will produce excellent power, we provide a good insight into both and help the consumer choose based on their budget and needs.

      Cheers,

      Matt

Had my solar installed by them. Happy with their service. Highly recommend.

  • It's a shame that I'll be moving to our new property in November this year, though it is in Mount Duneed. Hope we have good deals during that time as well. Is there any way to pre book to avail later or do you think the prices will be comparable during that time?

  • Had mine done through matt nearly 3yrs ago, and no problems.

  • Hi Matt, I have DM'ed you. Please check.

  • Hi Matt, I have signed up for the quote. will wait for the call. thanks

  • Hi Matt, I have signed up through your online quote, hopefully I am still within the first 20 customers.
