Price match at JB HIfi here and use the coupon:

    https://www.mydeal.com.au/samsung-galaxy-buds2-pro-wireless-…

    $155

    • MyDeal doesn't sell australian stock, which I mentioned, so technically JB can't match it but you might get lucky with the staff if they're a bit ignorant.

      • I literally matched it 5 minutes ago!

        • +6

It happens, but it's not supposed to lol

        • Can you provide the receipt? I wanna show those jbhifi peeps its doable. Thanks.

            • @eathb: yea… your order number doesnt look right mate.. neither does your order confirmation… Order numbers start with JB- or JBD-.

              • @ruztynail: In my email it's #JBD-number in the shared link

In my receipt I guess the JBD has been omitted

            • +1

@eathb: Doxxing yourself here mate, colouring over text doesn't remove it. Best to edit, then Print as Image, or otherwise remove the text in Adobe Acrobat.

        • I showed them the link they refused to match it! I ended up getting them for $177 which still is pretty good off of jbhifi.

        • You’re probably the 1st person to price match in Adelaide 😂

        • JB HiFi price matched MyDeal via their website last year for me.

    • +1

Can you use this to pricebeat at OW?

      • Nah, OW only will pricematch an australian product (not direct imported) that matches the same part number and they also add shipping. The Amazon listing is solid directly from Amazon AU, not a marketplace seller, so it's fine.
The MyDeal listing doesn't list the part number (SM-R510NZWAASA) and they aren't a trusted retailer, so they won't price match it.

    • Got mien from mydeal a few weeks ago for this price, works great with my Samsung phone, no problem at all, people should get this if you don't care about Aus stock.

Have had these, pixel buds pro, and sony xm4 (had a terrible run of losing earbuds lol). FWIF these are by far my favourite in terms of ear fit.

    • +1

This earphone drops from my ears too often. Bought it with voucher for 150, sound is okay with galaxy phonr

  • +1

Great buds, especially if paired with Wavelet and some decent foam eartips!

  • +1

Have these and the Gaxy Buds Live. The Live still tends to be my first choice. Found the 2Pro to be disappointing in terms of comfort.

    • +1

      Not the same thing mate

    • +1

      That’s not the pro version

      • +1

        My bad

  • +2

Great pair of buds that fit my ear shape nicely. Have had them for over a year and swear by them.

    • Same, only annoying thing I've had with them are the software updates that change the sound profile/tuning of the buds… now with ANC off they're a bit shouty and when ANC's on the lower end is a bit more bloated imo

Not bothered to fiddle around with rolling back updates tho

  • I have two pairs and love them—one for Samsung devices and another for iPhones. They are reliable, comfortable, and have a great range.

    • +1

one for Samsung devices and another for iPhones.

      Why? Genuinely curious

      • Probably to dial in the settings you want for the iPhone ones and leave them like that since you can't control bud settings from iPhone

  • Good price but got mydeal $169 price matched and delivered today from jb. Deduct perks and add $5.99 next day delivery, very happy with the price.

  • The 3 pros rumored to come out in july-august

  • easy price match with mydeal at JB

  • Purchased. I love my Buds2 Pros. They fit my ears perfectly and I'd rather grab another version of them than risk the new Buds3Pros not fitting as well.

  • What eat trips do you recommend with these?

    • Following, the stock ones don't fit me incl all the sizes

      • Too big or too small?

        • Too Small, but more like slippery(?)
I got some memory foam ones but they don't fit in the case so didn't work

          • @Archer12: Clean ears and tips every time for the slippery issue.

I bought Azla Sedna tips, they have more sizes, so try their Large ones. The liquid silicone ones are great but very expensive for tips.

          • @Archer12: Bought a $10 pack of foam tips off eBay (3 pairs/sizes), they fit heaps better than the stock ones for me. Can probably get it cheaper off AliExpress but I didn't want to wait so long lol

174$ at Woolworths using paypal coupon

  • off to return mine to amazon, and buy them again for $100 cheaper!

  • Scamsung soundbar stopped working magically just after the warranty ran out. I will be pursuing this through ACL. And galaxy active 2 watch display the missus was wearing just came off (apparently it's a common problem). I had problems with a tv also in the past. I have decided not to bother with this shi+ty brand.

Oh, forgot the microwave oven that crapped itself also.

    • How many years has it been for your soundbar?

      TV and Microwave?

      • TV was at 2 years, but I wanted to get something larger so got rid of it anyways as it started giving me trouble.

Soundbar just over a year (warranty is one year I think).

Microwave and watch both over 3 but under 4 years.

        • +1

Items sold in Australia has 2 years warranty, your soundbar can be saved !

          • @b0b0: Oh, thank you. I thought it was a1 year warranty but was prepared to assert my ACL rights. Would be great if I could get rid of this soundbar under warranty!

            • @CocaKoala: I've had good experiences with samsung repairs. One phone screen died on me and they gave me a whole brand new phone. Also had a monitor die on me after 1.5 years and got a brand new one too! I use samsung everything, so things are bound to break sometimes, yk!

            • @CocaKoala: Not sure if you can get rid of it, but under warranty they should either repair or replace for you!

I had my samsung buds2 and it stopped working after 1.5 years, got it repaired at Doncaster Samsung shop within a week 🙂

              • @b0b0: Sweet! Even a repair or replacement is fine. And I'll probably sell off on marketplace or something.

  • Ive owned these and the sony wh-1000xm5. I can say the Sony had much better sound quality and overall noise cancellation. Which obviously it would as its newer tech, but i found myself reaching for the galaxy buds more often. The sonys gave me a headache every so often just for how firm it was on my head sometimes. Let alone wearing them to the gym, it just sometimes falls off my head when im benching. I also dont like how the sonys werent very compact, they just fit in a big bag. So overall the galaxy buds have less sound and ANC quality, but they are just more comfortable and portable.
