      Someone somewhere decided to put the most barebone furniture together, label it as "industrial", and managed to convince the general population it was nice and worth a premium. They might look nice in staged product photos, but I agree, ugly af in real life and not worth stopping

        Dunno if I would say $29 is a premium.. Not everyone can afford expensive furniture, as much as I detest these landfillers.

          Was $55, and I mean A premium over actual value. It's veneered particle board with some cheap aluminium tubing. This in the same style (maybe slightly better materials) can sell for hundreds elsewhere but it's still incredibly cheap to produce
