It's cheaper than current Officeworks deal, you know what that means. :)

Price beat at OW to get another 5% off 🙂

    • +1

      Just did "what that means"!

I'm surprised OfficeWorks now price beats Costco.

  • Do they price match on the phone And give you a link to buy? Do they confirm if you are a Costco member?

    • +1

Not for me, they just price match and price beat. I did mine over the phone to avoid any issues at an Office Works store.

      • Did you call your local officeworks store or the general support number?

        Edit: General support number

        • +1

I called the general support number and they purchased the order over the phone, where I will be collecting it from my nearest available Office Works Store.

  • Black iPhone 15 in both 128GB and 256GB OOS. Was too late to get OW to price beat :(

    • I visited OW store. They don’t mind giving me black one and price beat 5% of Costco

      • Oh really? Maybe I should check in store then. Thanks!

      • Just went to an Officeworks store, didn’t want to price beat me with a black 256GB as it was OOS on Costco’s website. I’m glad they did it for you!

        • I think it depends on the store. I bought mine at OW Hornsby Sydney.

  • JB Hifi also reduced prices by up to $250 on iPhone Pro and Pro Max. Those who have access to discounted JB Hifi GC, can buy from them.

Successful price beat on phone with OW. 15 Pro Max 512g comes down to $2089 which is a great price.

PB with OW and claim TSR of traveling.

    • Flying out tomorrow
      Going to do this

      • Be careful coming back in.

    • what's TSR

      • +1

It should be TRS - Tourist Refund Scheme.

  • Can anyone post their receipt for price matching OW

  • Successful price beat at Officeworks over the phone (just pointed them at Costco website, no other proof required). Pro Max 256GB @ $1,776.48.

Unfortunately I had already ordered with Officeworks @ $1937 as soon as their deal went live, and it has already shipped. Any opinions on which is less hassle:

    • refusing the original order delivery (both will probably arrive tomorrow at the same time). Hopefully order number is visible on the shipping label.
    • accepting delivery of both and returning the original order in-store
    • +1

Just in case anyone else also needs to identify which package matches which order so they can refuse delivery of the correct one:

      • Officeworks "Order Number" will appear as "Trans #" on a Toll Fast shipping label. This is the headline order number in your order list on the web, and will generally be in any email title from Officeworks.

      • Other numbers you might get from Toll or Officeworks that you can't use to identify which package matches which order include Con Note #, Delivery #, "Order No" (this is a payment reference), Shipment number, or "Reference".

Anyone kindly able to post a receipt?

  • Yes you can pricebeat with officeworks.

I called OW to price beat online, they agreed to sell at $1187 with green colour as Cosco out of stock for black and blue. But when I asked to pay by gift card, they said it is not ok to pay online. I then went to ow Hornsby. The staff there is ok to price beat, gave me black colour. With 10% off gift card from Aldi few weeks ago, final price is $1087.

    • Can you please share the invoice

      • Also would like invoice thanks

              @1jwoz: Ur welcome :)

              • @Anthonio: @Anthonio, unable to view invoice, page not found. Could you please share

                • @enflares: I can confirm OW price beat for me yesterday. iPhone 14 PRO 256 $1662. Walked in and price matched by person on the door within 30 seconds.I phoned the store prior to going and and was given totally wrong advice, the person told me phone was a different model number which was clearly the same via the website. Never take your first answer as lots of staff everywhere not aware of policies and lack of experience across the board

                  • @DealSa: Why did you get a 14 pro?

                    • +1

@CVonC: I am sure it was a typo by @DealSa. I too bought the 256GB one for $1662.49 and it is 15 Pro.

                      • @sridhar: oops yep a typo. definitely an iPHONE 15PRO

  • Ditto. Officeworks price matched the iPhone Pro Max. They just checked the Costco website and didn't dispute anything.

  • +1

For those who are interested in doing it in store I just went into my local store and asked them to price match as I had gift cards to use. They still didn’t cause any problems and agreed to price match.

  • +2

Just did a price beat at the local OW store and got a black Pro Max 265gb for $1776.48 with no issues

    Back to pre-Albo prices

    • Without taking sides I'm interested in the analysis here, is that because Albo has fixed something inherited? Or did he immediately create a problem and fix it?

Here is proof just went in there told them Costco has it cheaper they crossed check and bingo don’t forget to scan your flybuys card and here’s the receipt.

  • Question would JB Hi Fi price beat Costco price? Thanks

  • Just had one reject me for the costco price match
    Bastards

    • In store or over the phone?

No problem getting them to price beat over the phone earlier today around 5:45 pm. Picking up in store tomorrow.

      • Yeah instore

Something something "its a members only price"

  • OW asked me for my physical Costco membership card for the pricematch. Apparently for Costco price match, they need to confirm membership

    • There are several instances of them price matching in store without asking for membership, I did this myself just yesterday. Sounds like you got an anal staff member, might be worth trying again at a different store.

  • I have JB Hi-Fi gift cards, so I must make my purchase at JB Hi-Fi.

I'm planning to buy the iPhone 15 Pro 128GB in blue or black.

I understand that Officeworks offers a price match with Costco and an additional 5% price beat. I also have access to a friend's Costco membership card.

My question is, how can I obtain a price beat quote from Officeworks to show to JB Hi-Fi and request a price match, bringing the price down to $1,472 (5% off the $1,550 Costco price)?

I only recently learned about price beat policies, and I know that Officeworks also allows Flybuys scans, which can be worth around $7.50. However, given that I have stacked JB Hi-Fi gift cards, I will ultimately have to make my purchase at JB Hi-Fi.

Additionally, is it possible to use any invoices from OzBargain members to request a price match from JB Hi-Fi?

Thank you in advance for your suggestions.

  • OW Price beat today on an Iphone 15 Pro 256bm $1662 and then purchased OW gift card via Bupa rewards app saving a further 2% bring it down to $1630. NOTE: initially tried over the phone with local OW store and the guy on the phone was hopeless, told me no as the phone was a different code. I then when into the store and guy on the door did the price match within 30 seconds.

  • Cool, OW price beat for the pro 128GB. Came 5o $1472.49.

They wanted to verify stock levels at Costco, luckily it was taking too long and just did it.

    • If the phone was available to purchase (not showing sold out) via their online store then it was available…..Their price beat policy can be an online store, doesn't have to be a physical store. Some of the OW staff are not up to speed on the policy and make up their own rules as I found the other day. Staff member over the phone told me the phone I wanted was a different product number at OW than COSTCO. I took his word, hung up, then checked online and the product number was identical at both stores. I phoned back and told him to check again. He then told me it wasn't him I was speaking to…dodgy

  • Anyone did price beat 15 Plus with OW and can share the receipt?

If anyone is looking for a cheap temporary case for 15 Pro Amazon has the blue CloudValley Magnetic Case for $1.99 (free shipping for Prime members). Only 1 left in stock.

    • Received the case today and it is great. Can’t believe it is only $2. Excellent value for money. It can be used as the primary/main case.

Did a price beat at OfficeWorks bringing down iPhone 15 Pro Max to $1776, plus surfed 4 x Coles stores to get 20 x 10% off Ultimate everyone cards saving a further $100 (was already a lot of work for both me and poor girl at Office Works so didn't push past 20 cards) so grand total $1676. Plus $80 credit from Apple Black Friday sale covered MagSafe case and a little left over from last year's 20% off Ultimate gift cars covered a screen protector. Pushing more Coles cards to save a final $75 would have been just plain rude IMHO so I'm satisfied and chuffed. I could have pushed a little further with the Coles cards to save a further $75. Plus I guess FlyBuys from each of these transactions too 👍

    • Will coles employee be able to sell you 5 cards, multiple times?? so you don't have to visit different stores??
