It’s an excellent game at full price.
Enjoyed it early on when it was new.
The quality beat my expectations. Dare I say its better that SOR 1, 2 and 3. (Was a Sega kid and fan of the originals back then)The Nightmare X DLC adds a ‘never ending mode’ with buff power-ups twist and new bgm. Fantastic additions.
I’ve played through it co-op a couple of times on my friends Switch, it’s a great game. It’s a real love letter to old school beat ‘em ups.
Shredders Revenge by the same developers is pretty amazing as well, especially if you were a fan a of the TMNT Arcade game back in the day.
It is made with passion and it shows!
I say the combat model has some good depth as well (compared to the older SOR’s) in terms of combo chaining - if you’re into such stuff.The rare 4-player coop sessions when they happen (especially if all players know the game well) + having the difficultly setting cranked-up is such a blast as well.

Streets of Rage 4 is an amazing couch co op game. Supports up to 4 players. I have it on steam and love it.

Streets of Rage 4 is a great game, terrible trophy list for anyone going for the platinum
Dredge was added last Friday.
Cricket 24 and GTA San Andreas are being added later this week as well.
Super excited for SoR4 as a big fan of 1, 2 and 3 growin up - had a bit of crush on Blaze tbh.
Turns out I already bought it on Steam at some point so maybe I should play it! Stupid game library and lack of time

Bought Streets of Rage 4 when it first released and loved it. Best beat em up since the 90s.

As someone that’s resisted buying Streets of Rage 4 on sale probably 20+ times… I feel validated.
