    • Everyone wants to look rich and don’t mind buying sub quality items for cheap. But it appears in the case, the sub quality shoe isn’t even cheap.

Damn that’s cheap for a pair of shoes

  • $321 inc shipping from cettire dot com. limited sizes available.

(note that the above price came up via a google search for "Common Projects Achilles Low", in the "sponsored" results…. but when I go directly to the website instead of via google…. the price is $458 inc shipping…!!)

This is a decent price for this shoe. But honestly, unless you really crave those gold numbers on the side, these really aren't good value for luxury sneakers. Other makers pump out better made and longer-lasting luxury sneakers, for a similar price (I'm biased towards CQP for similar minimalist aesthetics, far better quality in my experience).

      $547 is not a "decent price" for a pair of trainers. It's a rip-off.

It's only a "decent price" for people that have more money than sense, in my opinion.

      • These shoes are not about value, they're about status — much like a designer handbag, you're paying for the little gold numbers on the heel. Like I said in my post, you can get far better shoes for less.

But, if you gotta have Common Projects, then this is a good price.

I bought two pairs on sale back in 2019 and looking it up I paid $271 for a pair from David Jones and $279 for a pair from endclothing.

As others have mentioned above, they look great, but the quality isn't anything special. Both the pairs I had have long since fallen apart.

I'd buy a few more pairs if I ever found them again for ~$275, but definitely not at ~$550.

Bro, what? You can get designer sneakers for this price. A name that people have heard of, such as Givenchy.

  • Not worth the money. It was a hype when they were one of the few brands doing the minimalist white sneakers. But these days you can find a lot of brands selling similar quality sneakers for a lot less.

  • You can buy handmade shoes from Crown Northhampton for this price or less sometimes. They are very well reviewed sneakers and will most likely last a lot longer than these.

  • Rip. Off.
