$5 Bonus Cashback on $30 Spend in One Transaction at Amazon AU on All Categories (Activation Required) @ TopCashback AU

Hi everyone. My first official post as a TopCashbackAU employee. If you’re yet to join TCB, please do so today as there’s going to be lots of strong deals going forward. Remember too that we have the most generous everyday cashback rates and a highest cashback guarantee!

For today’s deal, we have cashback (up to 10%) on all categories, so you won’t need to worry about which items are eligible for the bonus (see terms below for a few exclusions such as purchase of gift cards). Just make sure you first activate the bonus then clear your Amazon cart before clicking/tapping the pink cashback button from TopCashbackAU.

Please read the following terms & handy tips carefully:

1. To participate in the $5 bonus cashback promotion, you must be a member of TopCashback.com.au and must first activate the offer prior to making an eligible transaction at Amazon Australia.
2. After activation, transaction must be made between 00:00 and 23:59 AEST (28/05/2024).
3. For this bonus cashback promotion, cashback is eligible on all Amazon categories, excluding purchase of gift cards, vouchers, Kindle Unlimited, Audible, mobile apps, Amazon Prime subscriptions & renewals, bulk orders, commercial or reseller purchases.
4. Your order must be made in a single transaction and may contain more than one item, but the order total must be at least $30 (inclusive of GST). Sales may report to your TopCashbackAU account excluding GST so the amount shown may be less than $30 (this is ok). Multiple items in an order will report as separate items in your account (this is ok).
5. Bonus cashback will not show in your TopCashbackAU account until your Amazon order tracks to your account, and will be payable once your Amazon order is payable. Amazon tracking is not instant, and typically takes 1-7 days to report.
6. Bonus cashback is over and above the advertised category cashback rates which still apply to the transaction.
7. Only one TopCashback.com.au account per person is allowed, and bonus cashback is limited to one per TopCashbackAU member.
8. Bonus cashback may not automatically apply to purchases where a missing cashback claim needs to be lodged. If this is the case and your claim is successful, you will need to raise a separate support ticket to be awarded the bonus.
9. TopCashbackAU will not be held responsible for any technical failure or otherwise which prevents participation in this promotion.
10. Where a contradiction exists between the offer terms & conditions and TopCashbackAU terms & conditions, the offer terms & conditions take precedence until the offer expires.
11. Any fraudulent activity will result in rewards being forfeited and accounts closed.

Bonus is eligible for:

12. Items added to cart after clicking from TopCashbackAU.
13. Purchase of products paid with gift cards.
14. The first (new) Subscribe & Save order. Subsequent orders are ineligible.
15. Pre-orders, but only if the item is scheduled to be shipped within 60 days of purchase.

Bonus is ineligible on the following:

16. Purchase of gift cards, vouchers, Kindle Unlimited, Audible, mobile apps, Amazon Prime subscriptions & renewals, bulk orders, commercial or reseller purchases.
17. Second and subsequent Subscribe & Save orders (only first Subscribe & Save orders are eligible).
18. Purchases paid with any Amazon credit as partial or full payment.
19. Use of any promotional codes entered manually in Amazon's 'Promotion Code' field.
20. Items added to cart prior to clicking from TopCashbackAU.
21. Items that are cancelled, returned, exchanged or refunded.
22. GST, other taxes and delivery fees.
23. Fraudulent transactions.


Handy tips:

Amazon tracking typically takes 1-3 days (but can take longer) to report into accounts (Amazon tracking is not instant). For tracking success, ensure you disable 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, avoid browsers such as Brave, close any additional browser tabs, and don't click away to other sites looking for codes etc after clicking from TopCashbackAU as tracking will be lost.   • Anyone know how to add stores to your favourites? I can't find the option anywhere even though I already have a few saved.

    • Great call. I'll need to chase this with the UK team later once they're online. According to the info popup on the favourites page, you can select 'My Favourites' from any merchant page. But I can't find the option anywhere. Also, note there's an 'Auto-Added Favourites' feature which sounds interesting. Let me see what I can find out :)

    How can I get Payout? Their website is rubbish.
    Every time I click Payout, then bank, it will redirect to my profile page.

    Once a promotion has been activated, it would be great if it shows up as PENDING under your Account Overview section.

      Love the feedback, thanks! It has its ups and downs. This way if you activate and don't use it, it never appears on your TCB account. At CR, every third complaint I used to receive was about declined bonuses (where they activate and don't purchase). You can't please everyone all the time. But will take this on board. Cheers!

      • At the moment, the only way to know if you have activated this promo is to visit the link for this deal.

        I know what you mean - you can't please everyone.

        However, this mechanism provides a level of convenience (+ visibility) for those who have activated the promo, and subsequently made a qualifying purchase.

      • How about this:

        1. You activate the promo and it appears into your account. And then:
        2. If you didn't make a purchase, and thus it doesn't track - knock it off the account after say 1-2 weeks. If you did make a purchase and it tracks, the bonus stays there as pending.

        Another suggestion…

        • Thought about exactly this at CR, but then members would complain about the fact a line item and pending cashback would disappear from their account. Thanks all the same :)

  • TCB cash back so far it’s easy to track and quicker to pay than others online. The only downside was hard to login and not many traders but now upgraded to their apps with more traders so TCB is now one of the better online cash back company.

    • Hi. Please check your earnings page and look for a pending $5 amount. Here's mine from yesterday's promo showing the bonus and associated items from the one transaction. Also, the bonus won't appear unless the spend is at least $27.27 (ex GST). Is this the case?

      • My earnings page only shows the amazon purchases but not the bonus, total is above $30.

          OK, thanks @ekans, @whypaymo, @bluey47 and any others. Please leave this with me until the UK jumps online later tonight. As you know, this is all new to me with a steep learning curve and perhaps there's a delay with the bonus appearing due to the sheer volume of orders. Either way, please don't worry.       • Mine also isn’t showing. Not sure how to upload a screen shot, but I have Amazon rows for yesterday totalling $43.27 with pending cashback of 44 cents. But no $5 promo. I activated the promo using a PC a few hours before I shopped using the App.

        • Mine did show up this morning, but I used only a PC with Chrome browser for every step (including buying on Amazon). My Amazon purchase was after lunch time yesterday.

  • @tightarse Does the $5 bonus cashback count towards the minimum $10 cashback amount required to get $10 signup bonus (when registered through a referral signup link)?

    It seems difficult to get the referral bonus and the signup via referral bonus.

            • @Notoriousbird: No worries at all. Here to help. Ye, it only shows the last click you make to the merchant. So if you make another today, you'll see the old one is overwritten and replaced with the new one. If you need to check your exact clicks (times etc), go here like you're lodging a claim, choose Amazon, and they should all show :)

      Yep, aware of this per my comment here. Seems to have only affected a very small portion of members, but of those that have reached out, I can see the bonus on the backend, so absolutely nothing to worry about. Just a matter of finding out why it's not showing for them. Once I have a response, will share it here. Have a great day :)

        • Yep, already in discussion with team UK. They're trying to establish why they're not showing for some members, even though we can see them sitting in member accounts. Just a matter of time before it's sorted. Don't worry :)

      Hi, and thanks. Yes, as I stated in comments above, some members are yet to have the bonus showing in their accounts even though we can see it on the backend. The tech team in the UK investigated this overnight and found the root cause, but are yet to implement the fix as it requires testing. However if you'd kindly PM me your TCB email address, I can manually correct this right away. Thank you :)

  • Hiya @tightarse, I just received my item today but it unfortunately looks to be faulty. I’ve put in a return request to replace the good with Amazon but just realised this might invalidate the bonus - point 21 re: exchanges. Could I confirm whether I’d still be eligible for the bonus or would I need to cancel the return with Amazon to receive the bonus? Thanks so much!

    • Hey there! Unfortunately yes, it will invalidate both the Amazon order and the bonus cashback as Amazon will set the tag to declined once the return/exchange is complete. Please turn on your messaging in settings and shoot me a PM so I can explain further. Cheers.

    @tightarse For those who didn't have the $5 bonus showing before, I can confirm the $5 bonus shows up in my account now (without contacting TA or TCB). Wasn't there yesterday.

      Yep, thanks for confirming. The issue affected a small percentage of those that activated the offer, and a patch was put in overnight by the UK tech team to resolve. Would have been done sooner, but they had to QA the fix first. Thankfully all sorted now :)

    • No tracking for me either. I also have a $10 eBay bonus that's been pending since June last year, but otherwise they have been good for tracking and payout.

        Hi. The $5 bonus will only show in your account if/when the purchase tracks. Unless your product is yet to ship, then I suspect tracking failed for you.
