Sign up to Insurance via Compare The Market, Get Cashback: $250 Hospital, $80 Extras, $110 Comprehensive Car @ TopCashback AU

221

Usually $200 cashback, TopCashback have upsized to health insurance cover to $250.

Hospital Cover or Hospital & Extras Combined Cover: $250 cashback
Extras Only Cover: $80 cashback

Comprehensive Car Insurance Cover: $110

Cashback appears to be unlimited with no cap so you can apply every month or 2 for different policies and save big on insurance.

Cashback will be confirmed after your product/service has been active for at least 30 days.

Can be combined with other offers (like free weeks, GCs, etc) as advertised when you compare PHI via compare the market.

I've also started churning car insurance as I've noticed most insurers has increased premiums by 50% (especially in Sydney) and $110 cashback covers 1 month of car insurance.

  • Wow that’s pretty good. How long before you can cancel and apply somewhere else without losing the cashback?

    • Cashback will be confirmed after your product/service has been active for at least 30 days.

So I'm assuming at least 2 months.

Assuming cashback stays the same for car insurance, that's $660 in cashback which would pay a portion of it

      • For 6 cars??

        • +1

No, every 2 months compare and jump to new insurer. Just remember you will have to pay monthly

Or if you have 6 cars, can't see why you can't get cashback for all of them.

        • +1

Every 2 months is 6times a year, which is the $660 over the year.

Guys, sorry for this. Please hold off any purchases via this deal as there appears to be an issue with the setup of the offer at Compare The Market's end. I'm trying to get hold of someone to fix it and will let you know here when it's good to go. Just thankful I stumbled across this early. Again, apologies. Thank you 🙏

    • Is that why my CTM didn't track 3 months ago?

      • Sorry, no idea on that as I only started at TCB a couple of weeks ago. I stumbled across this when checking things this morning and will hopefully have it sorted ASAP.

I had a similar issue withTopCashback. I bought travel insurance and at the time it was 50% cashback, but TopCashback only tracked like 10% of it. I had to lodge a ticket and it took far too long to resolve.

        • Really no reason to neg as they fixed your issue.
Would have been about 3 months ago which is the timeline they give you.

This is all sorted now and good to go. Thanks for your patience :)

      @easternculture fyi.

      • Thanks for that :)

        • Pleasure :)

Just so others are aware, please note this term:

Cashback will be confirmed after your product/service has been active for at least 30 days. Payment could take up to 50 - 90 days after validation.

      • Hi, I signed up via this deal on the 19th of May, didn't seem to track and logged a claim 2 days ago but no news yet.

Am I better off waiting or asking Budget Direct (who I signed up with after clicking through to CTM) to cancel the policy before it starts in a week, and doing it again?

  • My purchase from last offer on 4 March 2024 didn’t track and my claim (submitted a week later on 11 March 2024 is still pending. Having to wait this long has made me think twice about using this offer.

Same but TCB assured me they are working on it.
And TA is here now, so hopefully things will be resolved sooner

  • Purchased comprehensive car insurance through this and it didn't track. Have submitted a claim. Guess we'll see.

I purchased car insurance via compare the market last night (before this was posted).
Got email saying it tracked today.
I’ll update in 12 weeks if they pay out.

  • Can you include this option for AHM covers?

  • @tightarse - I was signing up online and got a call from compare the market and the lady said I can sign up over the phone and they will give me a reference which I can email to TopCashBack and I will still be eligible for the $250 cashback. Can you please confirm if this is correct?

    • +2

Hi. 100% incorrect. The entire transaction must be completed online. We can't add an affiliate transaction manually via an email unfortunately. Sorry!

  • That's what I thought - seemed a bit strange - thanks for the confirmation.

    • All good :)

  • Want to confirm that my inquiry for missing cashback has now tracked and is confirmed.

Very happy with TCB and being patient has paid off.

    • Did you just use the online form or did TA follow up for you? My claim is still in no man’s land

      • No one followed up. The rep offered but didn't want special treatment and wanted to see how long internal process will take.

    • Mine still didn't track after 11 days, gave up and cancelled the policy after lodging a claim and hearing nothing for 3 days from TCB, will take the Qantas insurance points deal instead as they seem to be about as cheap as Budget Direct who I went through with this deal (and their UI seems identical too, suspect they're just reselling it) and the points are worth about as much also.

      • For me back in late March, Car Insurance tracked within 48hours, hospital and extras didn't track - made a claim weeks later and took about 60 days to confirm purchase between TCB and PHI but CB amount differs, i'm sure all will be fine in the end though.

  • Anyone know as to how long this should take to track?

    • +1

Mine took 11 weeks to show up after I lodged a missing CB claim

  • I’ll report my experience with home and content insurance. Signed up 30/3/24 for insurance starting 21/4/24.
I got cashback recently (only noticed today) $100 for home and content. Very happy! I have to renew two car insurances and seriously thinking about churning more often at least on one of them. Thing is, how long will this offer stay?
