Hi, I have been recently shopping around for refurbished iphones. Specifically want an iphone 12 for about 500ish. Just wanted to ask what do you think kis the best/safest website to buy refurbs from?

These are some that i have been looking at:

In my experience the condition grading from marketplaces (e.g. Reebelo) is somewhat inconsistent and returning on this basis is a bit fraught. So if this matters to you chose a reseller who sells their own inventory (e.g. Phonebot) or buy pre-owned from Cashies where you're able to shop in-store, view your purchase and get warranty and IMEI blocking protection.

    • So is Phonebot reliable ?

      • I've purchased several phones and watches from them, no issues whatsoever. I think OzMobiles is another reseller worth trying. Apple doesn't sell refurbs in Australia so they must be offloading Apple retail demo stock the authorised retailer demo handsets to someone. BTW, good choice getting a 12.

      • I've used them a few times and never had an issue…

  • eBay? Not from private sellers but the businesses. Always lots of promo codes that help shave $50-$100 off the price.

  • I bought from greengadgets ebay when there was a 20%/22% discount off refurbished items.
The iphone 12 pro is still strong after 1.5 years.

  • phonebot

they have a bricks & mortar store too so you can see and try before you buy…
