  • would like the itx pc, but would want 2 ssd slots and wifi.

  • @luketechfast
I've been very interested in buying a gaming PC through techfast for a long time but you guys don't have a contact number on your website for sales or even support

Just thinking out loud but I think myself and a lot of others would definitely be jumping on deals like this if you guys had a contact number for support and sales inquiries.
I just don't feel comfortable handing over 2K+ if I can't even call a local support number.

    • Then go with another system integrator?
Thats probably part of reason they have the best value pre-built pcs.

I heard nebula had good customer service. Try them out

Hello Luke,I received the computer yesterday and upgraded it to 32GB of RAM, but I don't see any improvement. What should I do?.

    • +5

Download more RAM to match your physical memory

    • Wait for 5 years mate.

    • +1

Keep opening new tabs in chrome until it stops and report back how many you can do

    • +1

      What does this even mean?

      • What are you using your PC for? The extra ram will only help if you are doing multiple things while gaming like streaming otherwise it's pointless if you are using it purely for gaming and general use

        • For gaming, it does make a difference for the 1% and 0.1% lows

  • OK, I give up, how do you turn the fan lighting off at the front of these PC's?

    • Usually a Led button on near the power button that if you hold turns it off.

      • Legend! Never even noticed that, thanks

        • +1

No problem much better with it off haha

  • I’m thinking of getting the 4060 for my son to play on, as his gaming laptop seems beset with issues. I see you have to pay $169 to have windows installed on these.

He has windows on his laptop already, would that license carry over or would I need to pay the $169?

Hey bro, all you need is a USB flash drive, it's easy and cheap. Go to YouTube.

Received my two builds of the 7800X3D / 4070TI Super.

From order to receipt, 15 days. Pretty pleased with the turn around.

Will put em through their paces later this evening.

    • Did you end up doing any upgrades? Also the pny 4070 is what ended up installed?

      • Changed to leaper edge tank case, 120 AIO, 32gb 6000mhz ram, and the gold rated PSU, and yes with the PNY 4070 ti super

    • I'm really tempted to get this one. I wanted a gaming laptop, but this build is way more powerful and still cheaper. Just afraid I won't have time for gaming.
Please let us know your first impressions and the final specs you got. Thanks

    • I'm tempted to use this for running AI LLama model 70B, any idea?

    • Also interested to hear your impressions. I ordered last Saturday so been a little over a week and it hasn't started building yet. I'm ok with it being a little slow on the building/delivery for the value of the deals TechFast privide. Hopeful it gets shipped this week though. Being in Perth it will take a bit longer with delivery. So excited to get it!

      • +2

First impressions are super positive, build quality and cable management is solid, no complaints.

Don't think the leaper edge case has addressable RGB for their fans (there's dedicated button to toggle colours)

Just in the middle of reinstalling Windows (Initial boot into Linux worked as normal)

Ordered mine nearly 10 days before you and received it today… maybe they were waiting for some stock or something

            Gpu always under 70C
CPU up to 90C in cpu stress test
            Much less in graphic test

@cbastien: Thanks for the pics and results mate, I can't wait for mine😭

            • +2

@cbastien: I overclocked and offset the CPU, and the temperature was well controlled below 75 degrees.

The graphics card was overclocked with the official one-click method. These are comparison 3Dmark figs.

              Not recommended for inexperienced friends.

@Anthonooy: Unfortunately in full load mode I did hear coil whine, like a current sizzling sound. Not in normal use.

                • @Anthonooy: Thx for the OC comparison. I clearly don’t want any coil whine so not for me

            • @cbastien: What temps do you get with the Deepcool ag400 while gaming and idle?

I ordered the version with the air cooler a few weeks ago, and it hasn't started building so I wondered if it was worth it to just upgrade to a 360mm AIO.

              Thank you

          • +2

@cbastien: I really appreciate the pics and comments. Is thought the case 'TechFast Leaper Air Maxx' would be ugly, but that looks quite nice in fact, so there is no need to upgrade to the MSI.

Case: Allied Patriot RGB ATX tower with tempered glass side panel, Allied Premium White Sleeved Cable Kit, 6 x RGB fans & RGB front panel

          • @cbastien: What case is this? I don't see this as an option?

        • +3

Got around to unboxing them over the past two days, first build good, early benchmarks are within average amongst global results (Cinebench R23 ~17600+ in MC, Superposition ~19k+ for 4k Optimised testing)

So far the only con is that the 2nd build did not have the AIO rear fan connected correctly (I could see the connector was one pin to the left of the motherboard header) so the fan was not spinning at all whilst the lighting effects were working.

Not a big deal as i easily reseated the cable and fan and lighting worked fine afterwards, however, for a non tech savvy person, this would cause alarm and potential high CPU temps if not rectified.

Secondly, and im not sure if this is a con, but both builds are quite loud (not coil whine) on the default stock fan configs, so some tuning of the PWM fans and curve may fix that one.

          • @Gianl3: Nice to know, my build will also have the AIO cooler so I'm glad you mentioned it.

          • @Gianl3: Hi, is it possible for you to upload a picture of the Leaper Edge Tank Case?

It would be nice to see how it looks on this build and if I should make the upgrade.

            Thank you

          • @Gianl3: @Gianl3 Just wondering if you’re able to turn off the RBG fan lights?

            • +1

@OblongChinny: Yep you can, if you hold down the button besides the power button, it will turn off all the fan lights

      • @Gianl3 thanks mate. Is it also dimmable? Also is it compatible with the MSI mystic software? Sorry for the many questions looking to get this deal tonight!

        • +1

I don't think it's dimmable from what I've tested, and no I also don't think it's controllable using MSI mystic lighting, but maybe @luketechfast can confirm

  • @luketechfast how much to upgrade cpu to 7950x3d ?

  • +2

Great deals, but honestly some heads-up would have been appreciated when you can’t deliver the order on time. I waited for 10 business days for my order and had to email them to check what’s happening with my order and only then they replied back saying out of stock on boards and SSD’s.

So probably another 10 days for build and shipping . So around 20 days for your order to arrive from the day you order. 😅

Heads up. Be prepared for long waiting times.

    • Have you received yours yet?

One of the worst computer retailer. Sells doggy products, no warranty support. Bought a desktop, only lasted 1 week, power supply was broken. Called for warranty support has no response. Save your money and buy a computer from a reputed seller.

    • +4

I can see you've posted this on multiple deals and would like to help resolve it. We offer full warranty support on all our PCs so it will be covered at no cost in the event of a warrantable fault. You're correct in that phone support is not offered so I'm not sure which phone number was called, but we provide support here and by email, so if you can send me your order details I can escalate with the team.

    • +1

      Good luck support team.
Step1: ensure the PSU switch at the back is turned on

  • hows the noise level?

  • Hi Luke @luketechfast
If I make upgrades to my order, does my order fall back in the list of being built? Or does it stay in line when I made the original order?

    • It will stay in its spot - if it needs to wait for that part to come in others may overtake it but it doesn't go back to the start

  • re the Intel Core i5-12400F RTX 4060 ITX Gaming PC

Do you offer a PCIe M.2 Wi-Fi upgrade option at all? I have a friend looking to buy the system, but they need Wi-Fi and hoping to avoid having to add post purchase.

    Thanks!

  • Hi @luketechfast, I ordered my on the 24th and I still haven't received my PC. The order page has no updates and no one replied to the email I sent yesterday. Please help

    • +1

Yea same i ordered mine a few days after that but no updates as well……

      • Mine was from 3 weeks ago

        • +1

thanks for sharing. i ordered the around the same time as well without any update yet. so it seems as though its still in the normal waiting period

  • Any way to swap the liquid for an air cooler?

  • What's the hold up with this? Ordered on 27/05, on 01/06 I received an email

your order is now entering the period the majority of systems are completed, which is within that 5-10 business day timeframe from the date the order was placed.

    No update or word since.

    • I got a reply from sales yesterday, Was some supply issue with the GPU so they had to source them locally, stock arriving early next week. At this stage I think our PC builds won't get sent out until late next week.

      • Got the same email, ordered 25/5.

      • Thanks, pretty dodgy they haven't sent out a mass update email. Hopefully not much longer then

        • I ordered mine on the 24th of may, and today around 4pm they sent me an email that my PC has finished the build stage and is now being tested. So hopefully you guys got that too.

          • @Koalarunsfast: Just got notification mine has also been built and has entered testing. Finally! Not sure if they found more PNY gfx cards or they got the new gigabyte replacements already but it doesn't matter, I'm so pumped to get it!

  • Which case has the quietest fans?

  • +2

Will there be more i5-12400f and 4060 deals at a similar price in microatx+ cases?

    • Was just looking now too.. don't really want ITX (or single fan GPU)

  • For the ones with AIO, what brands did you get? I see above there's a coolermaster one…, was anyone successful in swapping for a aircooler? what do they have?

  • Placed order early this month, PC hasn’t been built yet. Received an email on 6th saying order has progressed through the queue, subsequently received another email on 8th saying order has entered its estimated build window. No further updates since, order status hasn’t changed on the customer portal. You’re looking at a 1-month turnaround.

    • Oh no, what about mine placed order on 11th June , I thought will be 10 working days

      • I ordered on the 24th of may, and only today got the email that the PC is in shipping. So yeah your probably gonna have to wait a while.

This is probably because of the large amount of customers during the EOFY sale.

      • Haha no chance. I ordered May 25th, my PC landed in Perth yesterday, I'm guessing maybe get it tomorrow. Over a month from date of order.

        • I just received mine, but after following all the correct steps to install Windows and booting with Ventoy, I get this screen.

          https://imgur.com/X36J52t

Does @luketechfast or anybody else know how to fix this? I'm pretty new to windows, have used a mac laptop my entire life.

          • @Koalarunsfast: Nevermind, I fixed it by using a different PC to create a bootable drive instead.

            • @Koalarunsfast: Hey mate I had some trouble as well but got windows on. I still have gnu come up each time I boot and have to type exit, before windows boots. Not sure if anyone else has that.

I might need to do some googling to remove it.

  • Hi Luke, saw this deal and I'm very keen. Quick question, does the 240mm AIO fit in the techfast case? Kind of liking the style on that one.

    • In the white one? It wouldn't no, with a long 4070 Ti we're using, just the other two cases offered.

      • Gotcha, I've sent an email because I put the order through with the original white one, hopefully we can get that swapped before it's sent! Cheers!

  • Any chance the CPU could be a non F variant (i.e. have iGPU)? I love everything about this but I also plan to use it as a Plex Media Server and will be doing transcoding which benefits extremely from QuickSync capabilities on Intel iGPUs.

  • Re Intel Core i5-12400F RTX 4060 ITX Gaming PC,
Is the ITX case with the GPU inside large enough to also fit a 3.5 inch HDD? I'd like to order one but not sure if I can fit a big HDD in it.

  • I am interested in the 4070TI super build, but want a fishtank style case. No option to upgrade to the TechFast Leaper Edge Tank RGB ATX Case. Is this an option?

  • Anyone able too make the fans remember there colour configurations? When I turn the PC on after a shutdown it defaults to all on rainbow setting again. I have configured what I want with MSI mystic light but the settings never get remembered after a shutdown.

  • Any chance of getting the deal that was expired anytime soon. was planning on buying it new financial year and the deal was still active. just saw that the main one was expired. Would this be coming back??

  • Damn , disappointed I missed out on the 7800X3D, 4070 Ti combo. Hope it comes up again!

  • So far my order has been pretty quick. Maybe I ordered at the end dates of the deal, and they just pushed all the orders through.

Currently order is less than one week and it's in build phase.

  • Any upcoming deals for non ITX RTX 4060/RX 7600 pcs?

  • When will there be a new deal like this in a larger case?
