YES

Of course - that is what compressors are designed for. You won't be able to use a small unit like this for spray painting. Anything that needs "continuous air" (sanding machine, buffer) will struggle with a smaller unit, but you can use nail guns and other "intermittant" devices perfectly well.
I have a 2.5HP with a 40litre tank and when using a nail gun it might kick in every 5 minutes or so to pump itself back up. Even a 25 litre is good enough for most people.
Belt driven is higher capacity, pumps back up faster. 2 cylinder belt driven is probably what's required for low pressure spraying continuously. It's all about the air delivery (CFM) and that is dictated by what tools you wish to run off it.
I'm after an air compressor as well. Can anyone recommend some other brands or models in the $150 - $200 price range?

Been looking to buy one but not sure which is the right one for me. Supercheap goes for around 120 but it's not belt driven and was told it wasn't that good.
