    I haven't used Akko sorry. The only thing I can compare with is the Keychron K10 that I also own. I prefer the Montech in every aspect except that it is not wireless like the Keychron K10.

    I purchased the Montech Darkness based on the aesthetics and that it had a knob. I was also pursuaded by a few YouTube reviews I watched. But once I received it I was seriously impressed by the overall build quality and feel/typing experience. If it was wireless I would say it is perfect for me.

    I'm definitely not a keyboard aficionado so my opinion is probably not worth that much. But I can definitely say this is a high quality, well built keyboard for the money. I should also mention it is really quite heavy, which is a positive for me, but could be a negative for some people.

  Thanks OP, grabbed the freedom. Needed a KB for the rare days when I go into the office.

  Also do you know the difference between the freedom and darkness?

    Awesome. I hope you like it as much as I do. I'm pretty sure the only difference between the freedom and darkness is just the colour scheme, at least that's what was said in the reviews that I watched.

    Did you get full size one? Or TKL? It's just that the full size one is quite heavy, and I'm not sure I would want to be carrying it around often 😅 or you can just leave it in the office?

      I grabbed the TKL as sometimes I schlep my fully K10 Keychron Pro into the office sometimes and its heavy. Im in a hotdesking situation at work and one time for fun, I tipped over the keyboard and banged it and saw all the stuff come out of it. Lucky most days im working from home though.
