before posting a cheaper link in the comments, please double check they are the 2022 model (model no. RZ04-44XXXXX).

there are plenty around the $80 range for the old version (RZ04-038XXXXX) but the new version has many improvements such as more than double the battery life and bluetooth app support with custom EQ.

I have these 2022 ones works on PC/PS4/PS5 according to the manual but it does not work on Xbox according to Rtings.

they are a solid headset for a decent price they arent the best you can get but they do everything right are reliable and also only $109.01 Delivered.
2.4Ghz with USB-c dongle means no latency issues when gaming and the Bluetooth connection allows App customization and taking phone calls (you can set this to Do not disturb so calls don’t disturb your gaming).
I read somewhere the dongle even works with iPad if it’s a newer one and has a USB-c port.

  Nice. I got the Razer Kaira Pro Ps5 edition on Wednesday for $107. Hopefully they compare well to the barracudas.

    those seem to be more PS5 specific but from a quick google it says they also have BT app support and custom EQ.

    the Barracuda X (2022) Wireless is actually called a "Multi Platform" wireless gaming headset, but since they don't work with Xbox I took that out of the title. they work with PC/PS4/PS5 and I read they work with ipad if it has a USB-C port.

    I don't think anyone is saying the design looks better than the usual Pink/White etc.

    but this is always the case with limited editions the design looks eye catching and out of the ordinary. you might think nobody will buy it based on this but consumers love it which is why the price doesn't drop as much as the normal colours.
    same with dumb stuff like the Kleenex promo posted where you get a "free plastic dog" people rush out for stuff like that (I wouldn't but many do) otherwise they wouldn't keep doing it.

  We had a set of Razer Kitty wired. The headset slide broke and Razer wouldn’t warranty it.
  Thankfully I had bought from Amazon and the return went through fine.
  Googling showed a non-unique issue, with another model of their headset, hinting at build quality/design flaw.
