Aaaaandddd I’ve made another stealth archer build
Back in the day, my favourite build was a heavy armour stealth archer that swapped to 2-hand sword up close haha
I’ve always wanted to make a melee/2 hand sword/heavy armour build… but pretty much turned into a stealth archer again by mid game … everytime
Is this ancient game by now is really all its cracked up to be? What's so good about it that stands out for most peeps? Just wonderin and curious.
Mechanics, plot, gameplay. It was very much a one off sort of hit from my point of view. The way GTA V ended up being such a big hit at a relatively similar time.
Yeah it's all they say. There's a sprawling sea of stuff to explore and do. Every now and then I still boot it up and run at another playthrough, and still find new things.
Replayability's through the roof! And if you are willing to tinker with mods, you're basically getting stuff worth several playthroughs.
with the beautymod i can't even get past character creation screen!
Even if you play vanilla with the dlc it’s a great package to be enjoyed as is imo
This game looks like fun but it really sounds like it will be a long and time consuming to play. Recently bought Fallout 4 VR from CD Keys for $20 (any popular mods to recommend BTW?) and I fear this too will be a time consuming game to play as well.
Might stick to Senua 2 and be done with it in 5-6 hours and move on to the next.
Upon in saying that, might still buy it and great post OP.
i have always wondered about skyrim and fo4 VR - like..i can literally spend HOURS just doing random stuff before i even remember there is a main storyline to finish. I cant imagine more than say 1 hour session in VR - and im like the biggest treasure hoarder in these kinda games - i will literally check every single nook and cranny - sure right now the last 69 containers i checked was junk,..but maybe the next one has a sick legendary?????!!. I kind of imagine id prob get pretty motion sick doing this in vr even though i have some decent vr legs now.
it is very time consuming. great escape from real life even in pancake mode.
in real life i am just jimothy. just jimothy.
in the game i am the most bad ass duel dagger wielding stealth ninja archer with like 2 points in heavy armour and heavy weapons for some reason when i thought it might be fun to have dual handed war hammer as an option
Skyrim was great back in the early release days (2011-15) but then, The Elder Scrolls Online came around.
Been playing heavily since 2019 on PC and never looked back.
I can visit Morrowwind from TES:III AND also Western Skyrim from TES:IV in the matter of minutes.
And all with other real players in the world, not just me soloing everything.
I am wondering if some experienced Skyrim players/modders can help me please?
I have been meaning to get this for ages and do a lot of modding. But I don't know if I should just get this version or is there any real advantage to getting the Anniversary Edition?
My impression so far is that the minor extras (a few Steam workshop items mostly?) that are in the Anniversary edition are not that important, especially if a person is gonna mod anyway.
Is this correct?
My main concern is that the Special Edition is more compatible with a wider range of free mods.
I'd say Anniversary Edition isn't needed, but a lot of modpacks and mods require it, seemingly for no reason. Most of those are graphics mods.
@ldd-mn Thankyou for your reply, appreciate this info, I was not aware of the mod support issues, I will have to investigate further. Perhaps a Reddit thread for Skyrim can help.
Thankyou for steering me in this direction 👍
@iota Thankyou, I bought a copy and it's running well with some mods on my modest PC, Cheers 👍
Hey you, you're finally awake
