After doing some research it seems a lot of cases use adhesives for the front panel. If you're swapping SIM cards does that mean you reduce the effectiveness of the adhesive?
Yes, basically double sided tape.
Some cases have a plastic screen protector for the small screen, it uses that to cling on instead of just a bumper case with tape.
Yes its not recommended to take the case on and off. There is a strip of glue in the front which will come off . Also the housing for the SPen becomes loose with time.
Yes, i kept putting my pen in and out and over the years it just kept getting looser and looser. These days it just feels like my pen isn't latching onto anything at all. Should i just get a new one? I've invested a bit of time with this one and it's all very sentimental.
New one might be tighter but can you afford it? What if that one doesn't work out as well?

Yep for most people its a gimmick after few first week.
I used to only buy phone with spen for years then realised i only use it few times a month.
A few times a month is already frequent enough. I used S22U for 1.5 years, and I hadn't really needed the pen.

On the topic of z fold cases I just want to warn people about dbrand. My dbrand case fell apart (all bumpers fell off/delaminated) after 4 months of gentle but frequent use around the house. It rarely left the house and was rarely pocketed.
