I'll be moving houses soon. I know Amazon provides big boxes for certain items which will come in handy. Anyone can recommend cheap products that come in large Amazon boxes.
TP is a good choice but I think they don't come in boxes anymore?
Speaking of Bunnings, you might as well start by just getting a bunch of free boxes from there. They have heaps of different sized boxes for free at the exit. Not big enough for huge things like furniture, but go there a few times, no need to even buy anything (they like you to remove their excess boxes), and you will have plenty of smaller boxes that will make your packing mission much easier. For free.
Bunnings ones suck. Buy a couple of the packages from storage king/world, whatever has a good deal for what you want.
They ship my toilet paper as you see in the stores just with a label on it. Only on rare occasions does it come in a box.

Bunnings boxes are pretty useless for a house moving purpose. You need stronger boxes with some consistent sizes.
Try a marketplace, there're heaps of second hand boxes in good condition. Many people just give away.

You want boxes that are the same size, and are strong. Either go to a storage place and buy boxes, or go on Gumtree/Facebook for people giving them away
FB marketplace, you just have to be quick.
We just gave away about 20 moving boxes, bubble wrap and butchers paper. It was gone within 3mins of posting and picked up within 30mins of posting.. so you have to be really quick.
Having recently moved, there is a huge difference between standard moving boxes and other ones.
The other ones always seem to be thinner, and tear or fall apart in the move. Probably because they are usually transported on pallets.

try your local fruiterer or supermarket for foam boxes, great for packing delicate or fragile stuff

when you order toilet paper and paper towel when u about to pay, u need to select that u wont want to be sent in the orginal packaging and want it in a box. its in the bottom

Amazon uses very thin cardboard for their boxes- they will be crap for moving house with.
War going to say this too - probably only suitable for bulky but light things.
Also, packing a truck with same sized boxes is easier, quicker, takes less space than odd sized boxes.

Where are you? If you just in Seven hills, I can give you free large boxes (about 25-40kg size). There is also sellers on FB selling large boxes for $1-2.
fb mp - i got 50 free bunnings boxes at the start of the year and a massive 2m tall 300m long bubble wrap roll
we did this, but it was unintentional and collected for a while, like I got an UPS for PC, but it came inside an Amazon box. Kmart boxes from onepass were better, when we got some thing small, they have sent those in large boxes.
Moving is a million times easer (for you or a moving company) when the boxes are the same footprint size and decent quality.
Do yourself a favour and get decent boxes.

Kennards do second hand boxes and buy back once done.
+1 for Kennards, they're properly sturdy boxes and come in a bunch of sizes. Handy to get a big, deep box for filling up with clothes, towels, etc once the suitcases are full.
I did the free facebook marketplace box route two moves ago, and the Kennards storage boxes in the last one, and it definitely makes things a bit easier.

Since we stopped having access to good boxes, we've always purchased boxes and packaging supplies. At least you know boxes are in good condition. I've picked up a box and had the bottom drop out of it more than once when moving. My lovely China is also well protected. They also have specialised wardrobe boxes, China/glass etc. The wardrobe boxes are great.some places will take back unused boxes and credit and also repurchase the used boxes at a lesser price. Though that may have changed since COVID.
I think you will find it more economical to purchase boxes locally then to buy products you don't need just for the boxes.
Get boxes from Bunnings
Talk to Kmart/Woolies/Coles/7-eleven nearby and ask if they can save some large boxes for you to collect. All these retailers go through stock take each week. They will be more than happy for you to take it instead of recycling it. I have done it before, and they all said yes. Did not buy a single box for the move.

We just moved and actually found the Bunnings 105L moving bags are awesome. Relatively cheap (especially compared to boxes), robust and so easy to fold away and store after complete. We ended up getting 25 of these

Who is your moving company? Many provide free boxes. Also on gumtree and fb marketplace people just give them away. I am about to give about 5 away. I got them for free and now they are in the way. I’d offer them to you but I am now in London so I can’t imagine it being overly useful.
When you move you want to move less s*** not more. I don’t think buying more stuff to get boxes makes a lot of sense (but maybe that is just me?)
Also ask Bunnings if they have any you can have for a small purchase.

Go grab some free ones from your local JBHIFI, saves them from having to dispose them.
I just buy boxes from Kennards. They sell second hand boxes for cheap or if you want new boxes they provide full refund on unused boxes and even buy back your used boxes.

terrible choice to rely on amazon boxes… check your local bunnings / coleworths and marketplace. plenty of cardboard boxes being thrown away on a daily basis

You can trim and sticky tape 2 medium boxes to make 1 larger box for certain items.
I used to manage a BCF and get hit up for up for big boxes all the time, so could be worth a shot!

$20 for toilet paper to get one box? You may as well just buy moving boxes from Bunnings. The largest size is just under $10 IIRC and goes down to about $4 depending on size.
