        • Yes!

          • @execab: Double Cool.
            While ive got you then…
            Any more LCD brackets likely?
Why for home would I choose "Certified Cat6 Patch Cords LSZH" over "Cat6 LSZH UTP Patch Cords"?

            • @rpb: Certified patch cords are more for commercial use where record of testing is required for 25 year warranties

      • Monday? PHST! We need more bargains now!!! ;)

        • yeah i know but we had a truckload of orders and we need to clear them first so everyone gets their stuff. australia post actually rang me up in shock because we keep filling their vans. we had a semi trailer come and pickup yesterday as there was just so many orders

          • @execab: Holey moley! I’m not surprised though, especially given the size of things like the rolls of cable/cabinets etc.

            • +2

@Yekul: still got just on 3000 orders to clear

  • @execab I am planning for an upcoming project where I need to join S/FTP CAT6A blue PVC cable runs from inside the building to U/FTP Gel-Filled CAT6A cables that are running via underground conduits to various security devices.

What is the best way to join these two cable types at the perimeter?

I was looking at these keystones earlier: https://www.execab.com.au/products/grove-cat6a-shielded-keys…

They are now out of stock. I am guessing you will re-stock them after your move to the new warehouse.

Will the following unshielded alternative work just as well as a cable joiner?

Or, let me know if you have a better suggestion.

  • Either that at a wallpate or if not using a wallplate you can use them in a patch panel. If its in a wall cavity i would use something like an i line joiner which you can secure the cable to on both sides. You can also get small consolidation points with have 1 or 2 passthrough jacks and screw to the wall

    • Thank you once again.

I think this is the product that would be most suitable for the job.
I will be using them within the wall cavity as the patch panel (in the central area) is on the other side of the building.

If you plan to stock this item, or the equivalent Grove product, please let me know.

I will also shoot you an email with all the other cabling products I am after.

  • looks like the mods put this post back on and canned the new one

  • Hey @execab,

Do you plan to run this promotion again next week on Monday?
Or, I guess tomorrow is the last day of bargain goodies?

    • doing it again! may start tomorrow if we can clear the last lot of orders tomorrow

      • Yeah still chasing a few things here.

Mostly various sized short patch leads. Any clearance stuff to double dip in discount by chance?

        • i will have a look after lunch today. we have a lot of miscellaneous stuff. found a fair few wireless n AP's and long range wireless gear

          • @execab: Might have a use for some of that older stuff, will it just pop up under the new release section or clearance?
