Deep Sheet Set Recommendations -Budget $150

Hi everyone, I need to purchase new flannelette, as well as cotton/bamboo, sheet sets for my new bed.

The mattress is 50cm thick and my old sheets won't fit. I used to use Canningvale, but they've only got 2 boring colours in the "deep" sheets. I also found, that the last Canningvale set that I bought, pilled badly after 2 washes. You could see through them.

Can anyone recommend me any other good sheet sets? Adairs? Sheridan? Target?
My budget is under $150 for a full queen set with big pockets/walls.

    Well, I'm female. Not sure what I'd be exaggerating about.
    But my choice of words was poor.
    50Cm high?

      Get a tape measure or ruler.

      I'm certain your mattress is not half a metre thick.

        I'm betting the fitted sheet size is 50cm, I have a mattress + topper and I use deep pocket sheets that are measured at 50cm. That includes what goes under the mattress too though in terms of size.

          Yes. I have bought an ultra plush/soft mattress. The extra padding on the top, makes the mattress just shy of 50cm high.

          Regular fitted sheets for queen beds, are 35-40cm. I need a 50cm pocket or I will be making up my bed several times a night lol.

    Haven't been able to find deep wall flannelette though. One friend said these adairs ones have been updated to 45cm thick but will need to check in store… might be too short for your 50cm mattress though.

    Yes I asked a sales rep on their website, if they're 40 or 50cm deep. He couldn't tell me.
    I'll have to go to the store and see for myself :)

    We have Sheridan ones that have lasted us a while, no pilling. But the Target Supima cotton ones linked in the comment above are pretty good for a more budget option.

    Sheet society. They say their sheets are 50cm deep. Or else adairs extra deep sheets… it's best to wait for their 40% off sales..

    I've just gone for Sheridan when they have a 40% off sale (every month just about). Go for 600TC Egyptian Cotton. Just go 100% cotton as they last longer.

    Of all our sets I think our bed threads linen set is the most loose fit, perhaps try them
