Update: If the size you are after is sold out at A1, try price matching Enhanced Autoparts at SCA. I believe it's still cheaper than elsewhere.

Bought a set for my kodiaq via auto8 on eBay, worked out $35 delivered with eBay plus voucher.

    • +1

Yah unfortunately they don't make sets for my car. Could only purchase single

    • +1

good call - now ~$3-$4 off with this new code: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/846713

Works out pretty close to OP's deal but always free shipping anywhere.

  • +1

    gd deal thnx

  • Havnt purchased bosche ones before but I have purchased wiper tech ones for one of my cars and they are phenomenal. How do these compare?

    • +1

Never had the wiper tech ones as they are more expensive. Yet I've never heard any bad things about these bosch aerotwin ones. I've only just got my Bosch ones yesterday but already found them significantly better than my OEM Mazda ones

      • +1

        Ive used both I'd say they're comparable…
Ive used aerotwins on my first car that was just so-so
Ive had wipertech on 2 cars, on my Mazda 3 it was perfect but on my Lexus is350 it wasn't good and kept getting streaks despite them giving me another set to replace. I ended up getting OEM Lexus for that car and it was better

I think it just depends on the compatibility of the windshield to the wiper in my experience…

      • It is dependant on the car. I tried Bosch Aerotwins on a Madza 6 and they were rubbish with juddering and squeaking.

    • +7

Wipertech is absolute shit - Just replaced mine with Bosch and heaps better

      • Interesting. I've had mine on the car for over 6 months with no issues. What did you find bad about them?

        • +3

6 months+ isn't a lot for wiper blades, my current set of Bosch AeroTwins just passed 5 years old (purchased 7/5/2019) and streaking is still so minimal that I'm on the fence about replacing them. And they're a good 30% cheaper than WiperTech wiper blades, which I doubt will last 30% longer.

      • Even my temu ones outlasted wipertech.

      • Agreed. Mine were shit, Jumpy and grabby. They told me to bend the wiper to go with the curve of the windscreen, which I did, nope still terrible. Replacements from them were the same. Never had an issues with Aerotwins.

      • Just replaced my wipertech ones today with these Bosche ones because the plastic ends broke when I put the wipers down after washing the car. Cheap and brittle plastic so wouldn't recommend wipertech for longevity.

    • Bosch are OEM for BMW, I had a few on lease years ago and noticed how good they were. Have used them on my own cars ever since.

    • Got them put on the Mazda 3 my daughter drives and they are very decent. Far better than those on the newish Kia we have.

    • +1

Bosch Aerotwin are the best wiper blades full stop. Highly recommend! Got a set for my wife's Mazda and my Kia and they perform really well. They're also quiet and are long lasting. I think Project Farm on YouTube did a comparasion test for wiper blades and the Aerotwins came out on top by a good margin.

  • what model fits Toyota Estima 2006?

    • +1

Use rego to check on supercheap website

    • +1

Just get the rubber from Toyota, their rurbber is decent and cheap. Prob $30/pair.

  • +2

So supercheap now will include postage costs when price matching, but if you’re lucky and go in store and look for the younger cashiers they wont bother adding on postage costs. Just a FYI

    • +1

Correct. I had the store manager so he wouldn't match the price before delivery

  • +5

goes to show the rip off wiper replacements are (even worse for those who allow their dealer to do it). I literally just picked up the same product from Supercheap an hour ago with their alleged super-amazing-online-only-sale for $36.79 or 46% higher than this — the exact same BBA600 product. I also got BBA500 for same price, no doubt this mob smashes them on price too.

    (profanity) Supercheap and repco, (profanity).

Go back with your receipt and ask for a price match

too late, I've already put them on… finished up… threw box in the bin .. loaded ozb to see what Saturday night impulse buying I could partake in….. here we are lol

    • 3rd party BMW service center used to charge me about $100 to replace both, crazy.

      • -1

Well, "luxury" car comes with "luxury" tax, only fair.

Tbh, they probably dont like stocking them too. Invetory takes up space and wiper is one of the less common thing to replaxe during a service.

        • -1

Lol no. How much space do you think a box of wiper refills takes up? 😂 Wiper replacements are one of the upsell / money printing items for dealerships.

Thanks, including delivery, I just saved over $15 from what Supercheap would have charged me with click & collect.

  • +1

These wipers are great. The down sides are they're so easy to fit and remove (easily stolen in the wrong place), and the clips are fragile, I accidentally bent the wiper the wrong way when washing the car and only only noticed I'd broken the clip when it came undone each stroke on the motorway. They stayed on and fixed it with a hot glue gun. They still work perfectly.

  • FYI, If you go to Supercheap, I suggest you add $5 for them to fit it; last time I bought the cheapest wiper from them and got them installed, it scratched my front glass, so I went back to them and because they support both the wiper and workmanship, so they have to replace my front glass for free

    • +5

Yea but if you fit the wipers yourself you save some Muppet fitting them wrong and scratching your windscreen.

Also a replacement windscreen quite often isn't ever the same as the original.

      • it was the wiper that scratched my glass at that time, not because of the wrong installation; lucky I did ask them to install it that time, otherwise they would have said it was my fault, which they were trying to do at the first state XD

  • How do I find the size for my 2011 corolla ascent sport hatchback? 🤔

  • +1

had the costo wipers, absolute garbage, keeps squeaking and skipping since i purchase brand new last year. thinking give it more time it will get better. nope, i was wrong. garbage from the beginning, and garbage until now. giving bosch a try now, i hear great reviews.

    • Same here. Had the costco michelin ones on my last car, absolute trash

    • I had juddering and squeaking with these Bosch in the past as well so may depend on your car. Trident rubbers on factory wipers also caused juddering on another car.

      • Have you tried cleaning the rubbers with alcohol and cleaning the windshield itself?

  • Had a 2014 Camry and the Bosch aero twin shuddered and skipped very badly. Tried a few things to clean and polish the windscreen but nothing helped so took them back.

  • Anyone ever tried replacing the rubbers in the Bosch aerotwin? Looks like the construction has been adopted across the industry and you can just put in 5mm refills same as the newer Mazda wipers?

  • I take it the aerotwins are the holy grail?

    • Damn the BBA350 is out of stock

      • Try price matching at SCA with Enhanced auto, still cheaper than elsewhere

    • I have tried these and while good, the width of the top protective rubber is larger than I like and seems to get in the way. I've tried tridon flexblade as well but still find no name "thin" wipers better but I also replace the refill rubbers once every couple of years or so.

  • +7

I just picked up two front Bosch Aerotwin BBA400 & 650 wipers from Supercheap last week for $23.90 each by pricebeat.
I found this random website that was selling a bunch of different models, and I price beat at SCA through live chat. They sent me coupon codes after 5-10mins, and I picked em up from local store with no issues

  • Can the rubber be replaced with refills on these wipers?

  • Have these on Mazda 6 for 1.5 years and they streak now… car barely driven. Kind of dissapointing for "Bosch" level quality

    • Dust built up on the rubbers and the windshield? Have you tried cleaning them?

      • Hmm, never thought of that. How would i clean them? I use the cars windshield cleaning system shouldn't work?

        • Alcohol wipes for the refills. Window cleaner (I use rain-x) for the actual windshield.

    • Gonna replace my old ones now, there 6 years old and slightly streak.

The quality is not the problem, it's the user 🙄

      • Can you elaborate on your comment or do you always made such ambiguous statements

        • +2

It's easy, keep your front window clean, and clean your wiper blades every 2-3 months. If you do those 2 things you're blades will last a long time.

Don't do those very simple tasks and your blades wont last long at all. Hopefully that's clears it up for you

  • +1

Why do people replace their entire wiper assembly instead of buying and fitting rubber refills for a few bucks? This is ozbargain after all…

    • -1

My OEM wiper blades bent in the opposite way due to heat. Replacing the refill didn't resolve the issue

    • will the rubber be the same as OEM?

I've got a cerato MY21 that's starking to streak, so wondering if that's the go

      • You can get OEM rubber but I imagine they would be more expensive than aftermarket brands like Trico. Personally I would try replacing the refills first for a MY21 car

  • +1

has anyone purchased from https://www.prestigeautoparts.com.au/ before? They seem to be cheaper than both A1 and enhancedautosports

edit*: SCA price beat them :)

    • Wow that's a great deal. But did they include the shipping cost? If they did, the total would've been more than A1. I don't think prestige has C&C option?
