Hi there,
I recently churned from Exetel to Superloop for their new customer discounted price.
However, I was unaware that Superloop charges an extra $5 for opting out of CG-NAT, a service that Exetel provided for free. I now wish to switch back to Exetel ASAP.
My question is:
Is there a cool-down period before I can churn back to Exetel and get Exetel's new customer discount?
TIA
Edit: I contacted Superloop to opt out of CG-NAT, and they offered me a static IP for $5/month
Turning off Carrier Grade NAT is free with Superloop. $5/m is for a static IP address.
Carrier Grade Network Address Translation (CGNAT)
Where CGNAT is available, your IP address will default to using CGNAT, unless you specifically request to opt out of CGNAT, which may be approved by Superloop in its discretion. When opting out of CGNAT, a dynamic public IP address will be assigned to the service, however, you may request a static public IP address (at additional cost).
Static IP
A single Static IP address is available upon request for the additional monthly fee on all residential Superloop nbn plans.
Static IP $5 (inc. GST)
