Not everyday you see Milwaukee discounted
But I don't think I have ever seen packout discounted like this.
Was $240 now $169

tradies¿
I still don't understand why it's so bloody expensive.
It hasn't had the "tax write-off" discount applied yet.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t this just a really expensive box? At that price for a supposed bargain I thought it would have a built battery or something at least..
Yes it is, it doesn't matter how modular it is or that it's convenient and sports a hole for a padlock.
It's still a plastic red box with a brand name on it. Those that want convenience in a purchase style effort would buy something like this.
The tools on the other hand are the measuring stick in many industries, powerful and or compact.
Trade people just see it as good value and in the way ive seen them treat these boxes they are pretty strong and much better than just a $50 random box.
Your kind of buying it then using it for years 6 days a week.I do agree it could no doubt be way cheaper but for the people buying it especially when they generally will own like 3-5 of them its "good value for money"
What I hate about Milwaukee is that everything is made in china, but they obscure that information and make it really hard to find as to where their products are actually made.
But American name must be better than the rest right? We love USA things here
from the same tool stable as Ryobi and AEG. Even the company is Chinese you know… https://www.ttigroup.com/
Technically Hong-Kong based and founded by a German
So does that mean the quality between the brands is about the same?
from the packout gear i have they are made in Israel from what i recall ( from the milk crate and wall mount ) but i dont remember checking the roller cases and drawers ill have to double check them
Crikey! It would be very expensive to have a few of these stacked!
This is why its so bloody expensive to get trades these days….$170 for a box.
