    • Cheers MT2010, code used to get a AW3423DWF!

    • code doesn't seem to work anymore.

  • Guys, for purely office work, for a senior person. For Excel sheets, email, browsing:

Is the Dell 34 Curved Monitor - S3422DW for $469.70 a better option OR
the Dell 34 Curved Gaming Monitor – S3422DWG a better option? In terms of specs?

Both are VA panels with same resolution.

Out of those two I would get the S3422DWG based on specs. It's a $20 difference for much better specs.

However, I bought two G3223Q and they are very very nice. I don't think I will ever go back to VA panels.

Whatever you do make sure to go to https://www.techradar.com/au/coupons/dell and generate a 7% off code and apply it to your order.

I do agree that the G3223Q are much better overall.
But for this use case (senior, no gaming), I think the S3422DWG is better value for $20 more.
I have cancelled my S3422DW and got the S3422DWG for $454. Thank you for the code!

This community does rule, doesn't it! That Techradar code saved me (well, work actually) 7% on the G3223Q a couple of weeks ago, and it is truly a beast. I mean, I'm new to both 4K and HDR personally, but for the price we ended up paying, I don't' think there was much else in the same category for the price/specs.

  • any thoughts on whether S3422DWG ($489.50) or Acer ED343CUR ($329) would be a better buy? Main use WFH, media consumption and light gaming

    • The S3422DWG would probably be better for you, or even the S3423DWC, as it is more productivity-based with gaming as a secondary use.

I got one of these to replace my Xaomi Mi Curved Gaming Monitor. Its essentially the same but with 65W PD and USB-C support, Im using it as a secondary monitor with my 3225QF as my main

    • I'm thinking of getting one as a secondary unit for a 322QF as well! Do you mind if I PM yo some questions?
