Wouldn't this be better?
https://www.bigw.com.au/product/tontine-aussie-wool-all-seas…Probably both 😁..I was just being lazy while on Kmart website 👍
Ooh I have this! It’s like sleeping with a weighted cloud. It makes it even harder to get out of bed on a cold morning because I just want to cuddle my blanket lol
Don't forget 10% off with Everyday Extra.
With its breathable cotton make
It is of course a polyester quilt. God I hate all this bullshit marketing which avoid harmless facts because idiots at focus groups thought they were bad. This just makes people even dumber.
edit: beaten by pw2002au :) But how is wool fill better than polyester? Wool is heavy and while better than cotton, bad if it gets damp.Is that Anko really equivalent to the Tontine? The cotton cover version costs more there too. It may stay better inside your separate cotton cover?
How do these compare to 50% down quilts?
Personal preference. I like a wool as a hot sleeper and allergens and for washing easily .. others swear by down. I just try to avoid polyester wherever possible.
Why are people scared of polyester? Modern synthetics have largely taken over the world for outdoors, sports, etc.
Sleeping bags are all down or polyester fill.
Wool is used a bit where fire is a risk. (with fire-retardant chemicals added)
I'm so bummed out, I purchased an overpriced wool quilt recently and it does seem to be of quality but there's no loft. I want that fluffy look n feel
Dont be fooled by the use of cotton in the description … this is poly fill in a cotton cover. Better to spend extra on a wool fill.

or if on a budget spend $19 less and get all poly … https://www.kmart.com.au/product/high-warmth-soft-comfort-qu…
