Cheap burgers and cheap beer from Ozb have made me a diabetic. I will be spending Christmas eating vegetables. Something to consider before buying.

$26.90 is pretty good, although recently I've seen Ballantine's and Johnnie Walker Red for $29 at my local Dan Murphy's.
The prices seem to vary on a weekly basis. Sometimes JW Red is $35, next week $29, and then somewhere in between. The shelf is usually empty when the price comes down. It's not like whiskey goes off so I stock up on mixers when the price is better.
Simple - when its up, then grab a few bottles, put on another shelf behind some other low moving product, then next week you'll have stock when it comes down…. :)
JW Red tastes like shit,even if its sell for $20 i wouldnt buy it, but JW black is one of the best whisky you can get. I stockup a few JW black on last years getwines direct deal, but unfortunately everything is finished now
Carlton Cold is $28.90 in SA. I guess it's because of the bottle deposit.

I was in local Dan's last night at about 6pm and every second person had a trolley of 5 Cartons of Cold lol (In Melbourne) Then I saw my local Bottle shop Owner with about 10 cartons and 2 cases of Black Douglas in line at the checkout… seems this was less than his wholesale price….
I wanted a bottle of whiskey too, but they were all gone cos of mongrels like this buying up bulk. If it was me in the queue I'm sure they would have told me there is a 5 bottle limit :/
