Is this per transaction? Or in total? Planning to book a holiday, wondering whether it's worth quickly registering for a St. George account.

    • People go wild over lets say a $100 account referral credit….this can be nearly $230 on one $1000 hotel booking…..i havent checked, but wowsers if it actually was per transaction.

I got back over $1300 from last years trip, so it works well…..for nearly everybody

      • Exactly, this could save a huge chunk of change since I'm making a lot of little stays rather than one big one. Keen to find out.

      • Sorry but where did you find the $100 referral credit as I am seeing $40 on Shopback

    • Reach out to @gotyourback on here if you haven't already

    dont do it….#shitback

  • Booked a place with Expedia last week (couldn't wait for a good cashback rate) through Shopback and it took about 3 and half days to track, so be patient waiting for that tracking email.

  • It's not clear in the T and C's if the $180 cap is per order between 12pm-7pm today, or per account? Does anyone know?

    • I tried contacting Shopback on their website.
Could not get past the terrible chatbot to a human.
Sent a message on Facebook, no response.
      Didn't leave a good impression…

      • Before posting here I also tried the chatbot. After a few dead-ends, I prompted with "Agent" and the Bot asked for my email address and my query, and said a human would respond. No email four hours later (and will be shocked if I ever get one.) Also didn't leave me with a good impression.

        • Yeah, I'm not hopeful of getting a response before the promotion ends.

          • @rcgy: @gotyourback - can you assist?

      Hey there @whisk!

Just a heads up about the 17% Cashback offer for Hotels yesterday – it did have a cap of $180 per transaction. We'll make sure to mention that next time to avoid any confusion.

  • Anyone know how to book on the Expedia app via shop back app?

Shop back app redirects to an Expedia browser within the shop back platform

  • Always check the rate without going through cashback sites. Quite often you'd be better off booking directly, instead of paying inflated rate in advance, and waiting for and risking the cashback not tracking.

    • Yeah, this is a very good point. The hotel I booked last week is way cheaper without going through cashback

  • Booked 2 hotels just before 7pm last night. Just got a (single) tracking email now for both transactions.

  • Expedia purchase tracked but it is showing as Calculating. Paid with St George credit card and that didn't track as a separate transaction. Have emailed rep GYB, hope it gets resolved as don't intend to keep booking if cashback is going to be rejected/not honoured.
