    what about tempered glass, will the pixel 8 one fit?

    the phones aren't even the same size.

        all I see is a price where you pay $849 then you get $200 that has to be spent at JB Hi-Fi and you provide $300+ worth of a phone you already owned

    Considering its pre order and no one has it yet, its going to be pretty hard to recommend anything other than the Google sold ones.

    Case
    I'm rolling the dice on one of these (have been using one with similar/same design on my Pixel 4a for years & is holding up just fine), and if I'm not happy with it, at least I'll have one while I look for another (eg. OtterBox React).

    Tempered Glass

      How is the amFilm screen protector going? Any issues? A friend has this on their Google Pixel 8a and after only 2 weeks it is already lifting off?

        It's been fine and still stuck on firmly.
        Only real issue I've had has been the fingerprint sensor seems hit and miss but that might be more a phone issue going by comments online.

          Thanks for the update. The amFilm screen protector applied easily. Maybe I'll have to try again and see if it lifts a second time.

    Optus is selling official cases for $35 which is pretty good compared with the $49 case price at The Google Store and JB HI-FI. Picked up one in store today.

    Anyone have any intel on a gel screen protector? I have put a tempered glass one on, it works fine but it is a little on the small side and is triggering my OCD a bit…
