Notes app in iOS can also do this. No need for a third party app.

Little known fact, when you share>print from an app, zooming into the preview opens a pdf copy of whatever you were about to print. That’s how I PDF stuff in iOS.
Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.

Thanks Muncan. I long pressed the preview of photo I was sending and it generated PDF. That’s pretty cool. Thank you for sharing.

OMG I think I love you

        • +2

          OMG me too!

      • +1

        Dude !!! Thank you !!!

      • +1

That’s actually really awesome! Thank you!

    • +1

Yeah I was gonna say pretty sure an already integrated feature

  • +2

Just playing devil's advocate, how likely apps like this is converting your files while also "uploading" them their service at the same time….?

    • +3

I just had a look. AppStore says the developer doesn’t collect any data from this app. Not sure what’s the definition of developer. Is the related party in scope of developer?

      • +1

Good on ya actually looking into it! Yeah, I guess we would never really be 100% sure if the data is fully safe with any app these days.

  • Doesn't Microsoft Lens do this for free already or am I missing something?

  • Yes Microsoft free tools like lens can do this or if you office app that will do too

  • +1

Upgrade to Pro option is still there even after upgrading.. what's the catch?

  • +1

The files app in iOS lets you create pdfs from photos. No other app is needed.

  • +14

31 upvotes for some random app from some unknown developer with no reviews for functionality that involves your private documents and iOS already has the feature built in. Ridiculous.

Just because an app is free doesn’t mean it’s a bargain and certainly doesn’t mean you should necessarily install it.

    Thanks.

    Downloaded, upgraded, deleted.

    • Upvote for you, did exactly the same.

      • Why? And why are you proud of this? All this does is artificially push this app up the charts and makes others think it’s a good app.

You’re doing exactly what the developers wants you to do.

  • Official adobe scan app does this. No deal…

  • +10

This is a feature baked into iOS, there is no need for this app to exist.

  • as others have said, part of iOS. There are tons of other apps that does this for free as well, such as Dropbox if you're in this ecosystem.

It asks for money to upgrade for me ? Says $59.85 for lifetime …..

  • +2

It’s now $59.99 for upgrade to Pro

  • -1

    I just upgraded for free

    • -1

And why exactly would you want it?

  • Downloaded and upgraded to pro, saw the message saying successful, but two days later the app asked me to pay. Deleted
