  • Will OLED version better?

    • risk of burn. if the usage is like me, 85% docked at home output to 2 external monitors for WFH, then no need oled.

      • No docking for ext monitors, will use the screen 100% all the time

      • When you say docked, are you connecting the two external monitors via a dock or simply connected to the laptop? Asking because this laptop seems to be able to support two monitors via DP and another via HDMI without a dock?

        • im not sure about this but for my thinkpad i use lenovo dock to connect it to 2 monitors

    • Have had for several months with no monitor use (school) and have had no issues with burning especially when sitting on pages while I copy down. I think these days the constant colour shifting setting keeps them pretty much burn proof.

  • Can I use any touch pen on this one?

Still think this one is better in terms of specs:

Unless you want a touch screen.

    • Agreed, been hoping it drops again.

I got that exact model for uni (after a lot of research on ozb and other sites) and am loving it, bought a few months back. My only complaint would be the battery life doesn't crank out the long hours i was hoping for, however ive got it in preservation mode where its 80% max. Very happy purchase tbh. People always rag on Acer but i've had 4 acer laptops now and all are still running fine. Have a travelmate 5720g from 2008 (it was a listing error, got it for a steal so actually bought 2 of them) and theyre still running. Having said that I've got 1 HP laptop, a DV6 from 2011 and it's been a pita
