It's pretty good for heating a room actually (max 38C). Rubbish "cooling" though. It's poor compared to a $10 pedestal fan.
Rubbish "cooling"
Its a fan, name should be "Pure Heater with Purifying Fan"
Obligatory comment re. checking price/availability of consumables:

This one is the HP03 model with the app connectivity
What's everyones thought on these compared to the other ones? Considering pulling the trigger but there are so many variants
How does this compare to other air purifiers?
Got one, this is actually the HP03 model which the 'smart' one
How would this go with heating an open average living space?
I have a HP04 I believe, I just don't like it other than it being a bit pretty. As a fan, it's rubbish at pushing a lot of air because of (I think) the filter and the "bladeless" design.
As a heater, it heats my bedroom very well but I can't leave it on heater overnight because as soon as it gas one degree below the desired temp it then turns the heater on full jet engine blast mode even though I've set it to 1 and night mode, which wakes everyone up. I haven't found a way to change this behaviour.
At two years there was some kind of motor failure (I think for the continuous monitoring function) which resulted in a terrible whine. To Dyson's credit at 25 months (out of warranty) they still fixed it for me for free. However I'm not sure what will happen in two years if it fails again.
Will this create some bill savings when compared to gas central heating? I just need to keep our bedroom warm throughout the night.
Ordered one. Thanks! This will replace my pedestal fan. Suits my tiny apartment better.
How good is this for a room heater?
