I'm shit at maths but $5000 over 72 months is $720 in "interest" or 14.4%

More like a PSA than a bargain.

Not saying this is a good deal but it’s not 14.4%pa which is what you should be comparing.
        $9.95 x 12 = $119.40 which is about 2.4%pa on a 5k loan.
So many other factors to consider though.

That's over $700 in monthly fees..

Also used to be $7.95 per month for eBay, why $9.95 here…

  • Can this be used to install a Tesla power wall?

Part 10 of the National Credit Code requires that credit providers include a comparison rate when they advertise fixed-term credit which is for, or mainly for, personal domestic or household purposes.

No comparison rate is provided, therefore deal is literally against the National Credit Code.

    • BNPL is not currently regulated under the National Consumer Credit Protection Act (NCCP Act)

      • This isn't BNPL. Zip Pay is the BNPL offering. Zip Money is a loan.

        • Ah right. My bad. They should call it zip loan

  • Stay away from this mob. Most rip off solar company.

    • Then solar company rip us off. Just gets passed down the chain

  • Always worth checking if the price for cash or bank transfer is lower. The merchant fee that zip charges will be applied to the customer and I found it wasn't worth using even to get a so called "interest free period". Was something like a 12% merchant fee.
