I picked the iems with the most ridiculous name and tacky cw to get OzB's earphone nerds' attention. The iems are also on sale to justify this post.

I want a pair in the $50 (+/- $20) range for travel. Right now I'm carrying iems and a DAC that's over $300, because I just grabbed them out of the box of unopened iems and DACs, and I packed at the last minute. I lose shit all the time; on the plane, on trains, in taxis, hotels etc

Thanks in advance for the recommendations.

It was $10 for new customer on AliExpress few weeks back

  • Are there any that are particularly good for gaming? I’ve been wanting to try something like these out to test the comfort

      Depends on your budget.

      7Hz Salnotes Zero
      Moondrop Chu II
      Simgot EW200
      Linsoul Kiwi Ears Dolce
      TRUTHEAR x Crinacle Zero

  • Any thing good with mic for zoom and teams call?

    • As per my other comment below, both KZ EDX Pros and Moondrop Quarks are available with mics and I liked how each sounded.

  • If you're actually looking for good budget IEMs, I've been using KZ EDX Pros (regularly $6 delivered in Choice items on AliE) for a while. Seriously insane value IMHO. And they are available with mic if you want. Replaceable cables for the eco-friendly of us, but I'm yet to need to replace one.

If you don't want over-ears, then these Moondrop Quarks earbuds are also great.
Am interested to hear other opinions too. These are the two favourites I came up with when I was tasked with provisioning 20+ band members IEMs on a budget last year.

    TLDR:
KZ EDX Pros & Moondrop Quarks
    I like. Can recommend. 👍

The Waner is acrually quite good, I'd put them well above the EDX/quarks but below the Zero2/Hola in terms of sound.

The stock tip (AET07/08 clones) material is also nicer than KZ starlines.

$6 VS $27 isn't much of a comparison though, so if your budget is lower then EDX is good.

    • Thank you so much for sharing these I'm actually interested in KZ EDX Pros hopefully its got a good mic quality I really just need it for work calls ☺
