Always the way, 3 days after I ordered direct from Anker (I paid $176 with a free USB-C Cable), Wireless1 drops their eBay price by over $70!.

This is the power bank of choice across Reddit for your ROG Ally etc. Up to 140W from a single port, 3 ports total, passthrough charging, smart display etc. 24000mAh, safe for local and international flights. If you don't want to fork out $300 for the new Prime 27650mAh one, then this is the one you want.

Anyway, hope someone waited slightly longer than I did for this. :P

      I just checked Camelcamelcamel,and the price has been 148 this month, but not all month (last date was approximately 2 weeks ago). Obviously it's back at that price again now though.

      Weirdly, the AmazonAu listing is for a slightly different model number (A1289). The eBay add for Wireless1 specifically mentions it as a Gen2 model and shows as (A1289011)

        It appears you are right. The deal post was never expired/updated, so I just assumed it was $148 since the 8th April.

    Good deal and nearly the ATL I believe. I’m happy with mine performance wise since it charges well and the screen clearly shows what it’s doing, but only caveat is it’s a bit bulky and odd shaped making it difficult to carry in say a slim laptop bag. It’s fine for a suitcase or backpack though.

          what I was told awhile ago is the device only draws the power it needs.

          so the easy rule is device watts<charger watts and it's fine. so just buy the charger that has the maximum you need, everything else that consumes less will charge perfectly fine with that charger.

            Can you explain why is there a slow charging port on this charger? The type A is there for devices which require less wattage, for example my smart watch, I connect it via USB type a.

            Recently, I connected a DAC to recharge it. Guess what, the DAC battery was roasted by the INNU charger. Not anker.

              sorry not an expert in electronics but I read some powerbanks have a “low current mode” which allows small devices to be charger (I think this is what the USB-A port is for?).
              when charging a small device in normal current mode because the amount of power drawn the power bank thinks nothing is connected and turns itself off and stops charging your small device.

              Recently, I connected a DAC to recharge it. Guess what, the DAC battery was roasted by the INNU charger. Not anker.

              maybe the DAC you connected had faulty wiring inside?
              I seen those INIU power banks going for dirt cheap though.

                @harshbdmmaster718: I think we should always take caution, I normally don't let things connected to these power banks, sometimes I just charge as much as it would get me through the day and then use wall charger to full charge. These things can easily go nuts and kill your expensive electronics. Just use these banks in emergency.

                  @sqheaven: never had any problems with my $29 13000mAh Anker powerbank.
                  it’s been about 2 years now since I bought.

                  something funny though I have a ring light which I plugged and it will turn on then off straight away. I noticed if I adjust the brightness below maximum it turns off, but if I set to maximum it stays on.
                  doesn’t have this issue when plugged into a USB charger.
                  both power bank and light still work though no problem.

    That would be 24,000mAh but it's written as 2400 in this posts description.

    I had to check the product as 2400mAh wouldn't even half charge my phone, but 24,000mAh would come close to charging it 48 times.

    Is this better than the Anker 537 for the Rog ally (current $90 on amazon)? Rog ally maximum charge output is 65w right?

      Possibly? There have been many reports from users saying some powerbanks, while they output at their stated maximums for a short time, they heat up and then thermal throttle, reducing their output from then on. Whether this model does or not? I have no idea, sorry. The 737 has been tested extensively, and should output maximum voltage until it is depleted, unlike some other competitors. Most sources I've found recommend it as the best option, especially if you are also thinking about travelling with a laptop that can charge from USB-C PD.

      There is also the passthrough charging the 737 can do, but unsure if the 537 can, it's not advertising the fact if it's able to.
