It seems only yesterday that WiFi 6E was released and now WiFi 7 is here. While there's not a whole lot of WiFi 7 routers and devices around at the moment this is still a good price for an M.2 WiFi card if you're looking to upgrade early. This card will obviously work perfectly fine with anything using WiFi 6E/6/5.

The new features of WiFi 7 include Extremely High Throughput (EHT) that offers a maximum "theoretical speed" of 46Gbps (vs 9.6Gbps in WiFi 6E), Multi-Link Operation (MLO) that makes it possible for devices to simultaneously send and receive data across different frequency bands/channels and makes the 320MHz channel width available on the 6GHz band (currently 160MHz on WiFi 6E).

It's important to note that this card is NOT compatible with AMD systems and only Intel systems. There are other Intel BE200 cards out there with AMD support. For OS support it's compatible with Windows 11, Windows 10 and Linux.

AU$ based on current Mastercard rate and GST inclusive.

Buy Now button is disabled for some reason… despite it saying there's 804 in stock

    • +5

I've put 804 cards into my cart so it's probably waiting for me to pay for them!!

      • haha, not sure if you're joking but I just checked and it's working now!

      • +1

Step One: Buy all 804 cards
        Step Two: ?
        Step Three: Make money !!

  • Bought one a few weeks ago, works well.

  • Is this like an upgrade for MBs that already have WiFi? Don't see how it will plug into my non-WiFi board.

    Antenna separate?

    • +1

If your motherboard already has an M.2 slot for WiFi you can upgrade it with this. If not you'd have to use an M.2 SSD adapter or PCIe adapter.

Alternatively if you have a laptop this can be used to upgrade that too.

      No antennas included.

      • -2

my brain needs to get around the idea that a wifi device can plug into a M.2 slot that my brain only accepts can be used for memory !!

        • +4

I was seeing wifi in m.2 slots long before I was seeing M.2 SSDs.

        • Do you mean storage/SSDs?

      • That's what I thought too. All good, I'll stick to my USB dongle for now.

  • Hm. The Buy now button is disabled for me too. Deal finished?

Not support Win 7/8, and Not support AMD

    • +1

Correct. I mentioned AMD in the post and Win7/8 I assumed would be blatantly obvious. Maybe not.

    • +5

No support for XP or Win98 either.

      • +6

Is it safe to assume it doesn't support MS DOS 7?

  • Sold out

  • Deal gone any more like this ?

    • +1

I can't see any other WiFi 7 cards this cheap. If you were after 6E the same store has this one for US$12.54.

      • Thanks that will do just need to upgrade mine

        • Do you a recommended instructional video to follow mate?

          My first time.

  • +1

Huh. Edited the original link to sourceType=562 and the card can still be bought for US$17.85 (before tax).

The Intel BE200 is a proper WiFi 7 card and supports 320mhz channel width in the 6Ghz band. Avoid the BE202 which only supports 160Mhz.

  • So which BE200 supports AMD? I have one semi-idle one in my X670 board with only BT working. Happy to swap it for a fully functioning one…

    • After further research it seems some AM3/4 systems will support it but definitely not AM5.

    Back on sale

    • Damnit, buy button is disabled again for me… Can't believe I missed it twice in a row…

  • There are other Intel BE200 cards out there with AMD support

Might be better to tell people there are other WiFi 7 cards out there with AMD support. Any seller selling BE200 claiming AMD support is brave. I know there is one claim that someone got it to work on a B450 based system, but so far no success on AM5 reported.

Anyone tried one of these in one of the sff dell optiplexes? I’ve got a 7060 micro with i5 8500t and wondering if there’s any limit on what Intel processors work with these cards. If be200 works I might jump to one of these next sale otherwise I’ll stick to ax210

  • Somehow, palpatine this item returned to sale. (I think it just comes back every evening until it's OOS until expiry)

    • Yep refreshed around 5pm usually.

      • The buy now button is finally enabled for me but I'm hodling for May 1st 😅

        • +1

It's not going to stack with coupon codes. I suspect it won't go cheaper.

          • @Clear: You can't even get this price if you order a thousand units of it at mouser…

So they're probably close to OEM bulk pricing at this point, and/or being subsidized.

            • @Namidairo: The limited time offer Super Deals are subsidised by AliExpress as means of generating return customers.
