This is a classic Taito shoot-em-up from the PS1 days.

If you played G-darius on PS1 this is the same but in HD with a lot of upgrades and extra modes including the fully ported arcade version.

IMO this is the best Darius game, with Darius Gaiden coming in 2nd. I love this one.

The depth of the scoring is crazy, the spectacle of the bosses is wild, the paths you can take, the alternate routes even in each stage, different bosses and sub-bosses, capturing enemies with the capture ball. The music by Taito's in house band Zuntata is otherworldly but so iconic. So sooooo good. And you can play 2 player co-op. I love this game.

    infinite continues, but there's optional easy routes through the game too, and a dedicated easy mode, boss rush, etc.
