Inb4 "Full HD in 2024 is a joke"

      • We are a spoiled lot here on Ozbargain

I'm curios what's the use case of these 24" monitors these days.. I feel 27" 2K is minimum.

      • And try to find a deal for 1440p instead of course.

      Cheap monitor for basic tasks
      Secondary monitor
      Those with little desk space.

Gov usually uses two of these per user, although just 60hz ones

Currently using an old 22" (16:10) monitor from 2 decades ago. I once tried a 27" screen and it felt way too big to me.

      • -1

I bet that you watch tv on 14 inch crt version because anything else is too big…..

        • +1

Don't you mean 38cm? CRT TVs were never sold in inches in Australia.

For people who can handle 1080p without whinging about how their sensitive eyes are bleeding.

    • Most of the population would be fine with 24 inch at 1080p. Hell my office just installed 34 inch 1080 ultrawides for some people and nobody noticed the screen door effect or that they were only 1080p until I pointed it out.

The 27" and 32" are also on sale.

    • I offered her a 24" but she said her preference was for 32".

I showed myself out the door.

I find these fhd screens useful in zoom meetings as I can just share the fhd screen and it's a good balance of size and res and I can keep my multitasking private

  • Could be good for a cheap multi monitor gaming setup? Can't believe monitors are so cheap these days I was hoarding an ancient 22" non fhd monitor in the garage. I should probably just dump it.

who paid $299 for that junk?

  • Isn’t it like double this price with kogans overpriced postage?
