Was looking for a de-shed tool, this one (model: WE58909) came up in the search, not sure the difference between this and the more expensive 858424, they look very similar, both have rotating pins. We already have an undercoat rake, a 2-in-1 is handy.

If you just need a shedding blade, this one is a good option (model: WE58911). At time of posting, they are all sold and fulfilled by Amazon AU:

  I'm curious how this differs from just a standard dog brush?

  both have the "spikey bit" to comb through the hair ..

  yes this has a rake … curious how this picks up hair lol

  I know when we brush our dog … she brush quickly fills up .. and thats multiple rows of spikes … so I don't know how just 2 rows will do much better …

    A rake type brush is more for double coat breeds, the pins are longer and more rigid in order to reach the undercoat area.

    A standard pin type brush like this is more for the top coat or single coat breeds. It is also more gentle, suitable for daily use.
