  • Also matching the power head deal for $315

LOL… who are these guys using as shipping providers?

I'm getting quotes in the $50-$100 range for shipping to the Sydney burbs.

    • I dont understand this. Trying to send an item within the same state using auspost is a lot more expensive than buying an item from aliexpress which includes the price if the item, international shipping and local delivery by auspost!

      • Looks like they’re price matching the shipping cost from QLD too

      • There are international post agreements that lead to this.

        • That would be obvious but its weird. 9$, 3 items from aliexpress all delvered in 10 days flat. sending an item in auspost 10$.

I wish the standalone pole saw was going for the same price.

      • Me too!

  • Any high power battery deals?

    • +1

That's not how it works. The batteries never go on sale by themselves.

    Nice price.

If you plan to buy this, be aware that the run time on this battery is 20 mins.

    • Yeah… the 2.5Ah are pretty weak.

The bundle that @Mr Mrrtn linked to comes with the 5.0Ah and rapid charger. Seems a more practical combo if you don't need the pole or hedge trimmer attachment.

  • If anyone has this particular pole saw kit, can you tell me the total length of it with the extension.

Ego have another free battery promo starting May 1st. Best to wait it you’re spending $1k+

  • Is this really that good that it's 2x more than a Ozito with same battery etc and convenience of Bunnings warranty?

    • The ozito doesn't actually go short. Not sure if this does but it's been horribly ungainly for us.

  • Weight is also something to consider when choosing a pole saw as well as reach ,
your going to use it above your head trying to get as much reach out of it as you can no matter how long it is for longer periods if it’s lighter .

  • QLD deal was TradeTools not Total Tools. I also get confused between the two.

  • Ignoring the price, is this better or Makita 40V?

  • Check out Swift brand

    • Is it any good? Just had a look at their line trimmer and its very different

      • I got the pole hedge trimmer it's great

  • All charge times are approximate and from zero to full charge as follows:
    2.5Ah & 4.0 Ah Battery: 30-minutes
    5.0 Ah Battery: 40-minutes
    7.5 Ah Battery: 60-minutes

  • Oh mate, can't believe I missed out on this deal!! If anyone in Brisbane is regretting their decision I'd be happy to come buy it off them with cash

Keep in mind ego warranty is not transferable

      • Thanks mate, I didn't know that. I actually managed to snag one from trade tools.
