Is this similar to a perpetual calendar? Interesting dial for sure. And not a common complication.
No, it just has an extra disc for the decoding tables that are printed on the dial. The date still needs to be advanced manually at the end of months without 31 days.
True mechanical perpetual calendars are expensive. Even annual calendars are.
Yeah, auto perpetuals are pricey. I only have Eco-drive perpetuals and an Astron which sort of is.
