      Which "RRP" Aldi deals are you referring to? Special Buys tend to be the lowest offering & often trigger competitors eg Bunnings to lower their prices on comparable (not even identical) items.

      specs seem quite similar, price is 50% vs DJI. For an average Joe this is a great drone. Most ppl fly theirs once a year and it sits in storage most of the time. if you want to record and fly a lot, get DJI for premium cost.

  The linked store has 3 product variants to choose. I think the titled offer is including the extra battery hence the higher price. Base model seems 470 with one battery.

  Also think fimi is a subsidiary of Xiaomi that specialises in drones

  There is no point in trying to save money for something so technical and complex as a drone…. just buy a proper DJI and call it a day.
  Even if it was not a drone, ordering a $500+ item from AliExpress is just asking for trouble.
