Vegan Protein Flavours

We have 8 flavours available to choose from.

All our flavoured Vegan options are naturally sweetened using a combination of thaumatin and stevia. Thaumatin accounts for approximately 80% of the sweetness given how potent it is relative to stevia. The unflavoured version is not sweetened at all.

  • Best Before Dates: Best before dates will be 18-24 months away. We turn this product over very quickly so all current stock has been produced recently.

  • Applying Store Credit: To apply existing store credit (Z Points), firstly make sure that you are logged in.       Hi @capslock janitor yes, this seems about right. It's due to the flavouring that we use, so we will find that some flavours run less smoothly than others.

    Hey! What's the difference between creatine and Micronised Creatine Monohydrate?

      There are many forms of creatine, but creatine monohydrate has the most research behind it (spanning decades) and is the most widely consumed form of creatine.

      The micronised component refers to the particle size. Our creatine is very fine, so it won't have a grainy texture.

    This is not a good price when I can often get Musashi Plant Protein 3kg for 50% off at chemist warehouse ($50). What am I missing here?

      Thanks for the comment @Benicio and I appreciate you sharing this. Insight into what our competitors do is extremely helpful and this is certainly something I will be keeping front of mind for subsequent promotions that we run with the Vegan range (and others of course).

      I could only find a 2kg version of the Musashi Plant Protein available on CW with RRP at $116.99. From memory they do 50% off RRP (I may be wrong here), but if this is the case, it would come to 2kg for $58.50 or $29.25/kg.

      In comparison, for repeat customers (ie. the majority of people who are purchasing) this deal is $33.33/kg (for 3kg excluding the store credit). After credit, $23.33/kg for 3kg. For the 5kg offer, $30/kg, or $20/kg after store credit.

      It's important to note that these are not identical products. The Musashi product generally has a lower protein percentage. The other macros will vary from flavour to flavour and we are generally higher in fat. The carb comparison will vary widely across flavours. I note that the Musashi product is fortified with added amino acids (Glutamine and BCAA's) which may also contribute to the protein percentage reported on the panel. I also note that the Musashi Plant Protein has Chia protein as well as added fibre, MCT's and Papain, whereas ours does not. While I cannot comment on the flavour/texture of the Musashi product (these will be highly subjective), it seems to come in two flavours whereas we currently have eight flavours available.

        You are correct - i just checked its a 2kg tub. On sale it's around $55.

        I wasnt having a go at you, I was genuinely missing why this deal is so popular. It was my mistake in the product sizes.

        I struggle to find protein powders that dont destroy my stomach and seeing how popular and responsive you are, I will certainly give this product a go.

    Does anyone get acne when using whey proteins? I had a breakout after almost a decade and some google research suggests that whey can increase the sebum production which can give you acne? Although, I am aware that you can get google to agree to almost anything. Anyway, I've ordered the vegan protein so will find out if it's indeed the whey or some other factors.

    We are used to the WPI powder, but how does the vegan mix in cold water compared to WPI. Does it clog up, taste more grainy etc, does this taste more 'planty'. Any feedback between the two regarding mixture/texture/taste etc.

      Hi @mrhugo and thanks for asking. The Vegan protein will have somewhat of a thicker texture and I believe this will be the most noticeable difference. The plant proteins have a much stronger flavour than whey protein isolate, but I believe we've done a good job in covering this up with the flavours available (except unflavoured - this one will taste earthy).
