Lowest ever as per 3 Camels. My wife swears by this brand.

$18.5 at Coles and $37 at Woolies.

With this deal it comes to $0.33/Capsule ($0.3/capsule S&S), not too shabby!

  • That's 33¢ a wash.

5.2L one that's popular on ozb.

Normal load is 50ml according to the back, so call it 100 washes, for call it $25 given the post above, making it 25¢ per wash.

Unsure the advantage of the capsule over the liquid, possibly the equivalent to a heavy load ? And therefore more than 50ml equivalent?

    *(Hoping my maths is good)

    • 2 capsules = heavy load

      Good for lazy people

The 4L cold power often goes on sale for $16.20 with subscribe and save (20.25c /wash)

I use half of what the bottle recommends. Clothes just as clean, no residue build up inside the washing machine either

This. Of course manufacturers are going to overstate the recommended dosage in order to drive consumption. 1/2 is a good metric!

@Ham Dragon: Some people say to use just one teaspoon!

More detergent = more residue left on clothes etc. If people just tried less in the wash, they'll be amazed

i prefer liquid however these capsules/tables are really good when travelling - when staying in Airbnb etc with a washing machine you grab a few these much easier then taking powder or liquid

Definitely do not trust their BS with the 1 capsule, unless you're washing a couple of shirts. Shirts worn by a very stationary, healthy young female who doesn't make her clothes smell like anything other than the scent of a newborn baby's hair.

Men's clothing will require 2 x capsules, don't try to BS me that your clothes smell fresh if you put half a load on with just 1 of these tabs. I tried it 3 times and every time without fail, clothes and a couple of bath towels have a gross musky scent lingering.

Yep 100% you need 2 pods on men’s clothing. Only brand I’ve found that I can get away with 1 pod is the “Ka Pod” brand as they seem extra strong and the scent on them is very present

    • i use one tablet and my washing machine auto doses liquid

      • But does the washing machine know you have added the pod?

  • Such a bargain.

  • yeah mad

  • I have never tried anything apart from home brand laundry powder of coles/woolies, are these worth it?
Keen to hear from someone who has tried both

    • +1

Home brand is generally crap, treat yourself to some Cold Power liquid in the 5L bottle using S&S.

Or at the very least get some Trimat Advanced liquid from Aldi. You'll notice the difference in smell, especially with the Cold Power liquid.

These capsules are a rip off.

      • Thanks mate, appreciate the feedback

  • I use the powder on half price and then use 1/3 cup per wash
