Very decent game, many builds if you are into 100% completion.

      • I enjoyed it, but there's nowhere near adequate resources to upgrade any cards and the upgrades seem piddly and not worth bothering with. Given there's no end game I didn't really understand those design choices. But I still recommend the game.

  • All these games are so much fun!

  • I really have enjoyed all the SteamWorld games very much. I have tried to like their Sim Builder game but ultimately it wasn't for me but seemed as well put together as their other titles. The Dig titles are probably my favourites.

  • Steamworld dig 2 is absolutely fantastic fun metroidvania game with a funny story and many game altering upgrades and a cool mining mechanic. I bought it last year not expecting much but it was really cool and played really well in handheld mode.

    • Cliche question: should I play dig 1 before dig 2? (To help your answer, I am someone who would tell people to play TOTK before BOTW :)

      • I didn't, the first one is ok but the sequel improved on every aspect.

      • Unless your adamant you want to play both I'd say just play 2. 1 is also good but you won't be able to go back to it after playing 2.

        • Bought dig 2, spent a very happy 5 hours already on a lazy Sunday :)

Heist at $3 is a no brainer. Doubly so for a portable version.
