      • I was thinking RAM, mate.

        • I had 1MB RAM in my first computer, then 4MB, then 32MB. Couldn't imagine 128MB.

    • 1TB USB Flash Drives are already available nowadays.

    good burner phone

    • you a hitman or drug dealer? or a 2 timer

      • It's for calling your mum

        • Are you two timing his mum though?

    buttons too small for grandma

  • These would be great… if they ran Android as the O/S.

Only a Nokia 8210 in name, it doesn't have very much in common with the original phone. It's much larger and heavier, for example.

  • Only XX, not XXX?

  • Thanks! Grabbed one for one of our physically disabled relatives. Only uses it for phone calls, nothing else so having actual phone buttons is a must. I looked into the Opel phones but they have other problems so avoided them.

Also found a charging base from Aliexpress which should hopefully make it easier to charge.

My father is 81. Just finished his new PC build, told me that I should get new phone with at least 256gb of memory and 6gb of ram. And he is using tiktok. Can this phone suit him? Probably not

I'd wish I'd still be that cluey in my 80's! nice job dadsy

    • My dad's about the same age, doesn't have a mobile at all nor a computer.

Yep, some people choose to stop processing new information and some people stay engaged

Maybe superfluous but I wouldn't mind one of these retro jobs just as a bluetooth handset connected to my iPhone, to make calls (has anyone thought of this!?) Or an eSIM version with my same phone number. Wanna ditch the screen time a bit, & go retro. Hmmm those unconnected days seem more chill.

    :-)

Remember paying close to $1k to have a hands free kit supplied and installed for one of these state of the art Nokias.

  • Is this hackproof?

  • is that a typo? should be 128gb?
