Nothing peels better than the 30 year old peeler that's been through the trenches that sits in the cutlery drawer.

And that long dead company had never heard of the term "planned obsolescence"

Great deal thanks OP. Now how do I market all these potatoe peels I have created as a secondary market?……

    • We've had local whiskeys and gins take off, perhaps you can make vodka the next big Aussie spirit

I have this one but prefer the cheaper Culinare peeler https://amzn.asia/d/eGsasrd, I find the Oxo a lot bulkier and harder to handle, and otherwise don’t find much difference in the blade or how they peel

    • Highly recommend you try the Ikea peeler I linked above, if you ever get a chance. It's fantastic and perfectly weighted.

    • Agreed. I've never used a peeler better than the culinare one. So easy, so smooth.

You don't need a big fat handle on a peeler.

  • My vote is for OXO because of the handle size, if you have big hands this is a godsend. I know the little ones are good for it, but I found it too small to hold effectively and lead to some sketchy peels. My hands aren't exactly huge either, I guess just above average.
