  These have been getting more popular, I wonder what pressure the machine brews at, and if it's on par with an equivalent spec/price semi-automatic espresso machine.

    These are great for people who aren't too snobby about their coffee and don't want to fiddle with portafilters, cleaning, maintaining etc. Coffee out of them is fine especially with milk (haven't tried espresso from these).

    They're getting more popular because coffee prices are getting close to $5 a cup and most people don't just have one a day so these are a pretty decent investment too if you're wfh etc

    Expect more of 'coffee' than espresso, these won't grind well and extract at a high bar like you would expect.
    Anyway, I'm happy with my Delonghi full automatic machine, not much worse than my traditional Breville. I would expect these to be similar.
    These are quite nice for a morning in a hurry.
