Similar deals everywhere e.g. ebay ~$225 vs $260 https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/314782371539
I'd assume they're legit, unless there is a massive amount of fakes being sold everywhere (?)
Even if this is legit, there is no warranty for these.
If it's too good to be true, it probably is. Prices are set pretty consistently worldwide by manufacturers to avoid their more profitable markets being undercut by gray market imports.
The weird answers in the actual text description box aren't encouraging (brand: "Perkins Wolf" for the 2nd link).
On the other hand, these are kind of older models, which might have been picked up on clearance. So if it's not fake or used, it might just be old… none of this is ideal for data storage, even with redundency. You might save money now, but have to replace them sooner. It's a gamble.
Yeah my assumption was they're either fake or a older model that has a higher failure rate
The are legit HDD's.
What is the warranty?
What is the definition of "new" and brand new or newly reconditioned or newly removed from…..????
How much of the warranty is left when you get the drive? They're not even that cheap lol

Do these guys send an email when they ship? I placed an order but received no email
One thing Ive found in China (Taobao) is that properly branded, legit Western products MORE than what they'd cost in the US. Netgear, Ruckus, Unifi, even TP Link.
If these drives are cheaper, from some randomly named Aliexpress store, the chances of them being legit are very, very low.

Obviously not all of the refurbished drives will have been rebuilt from parts "sealed" with packing tape, but some are. Are you feeling lucky?
Yeah of course, name brand large capacity HDD at half retail, what could go wrong?
