tbh this is the price they should have been in my opinion. its a new budget model targeting young people.
Sound = Hi-Res Wireless, LDAC, HearID
Active Noise Cancellation = Adaptive ANC
Transparency = Yes
soundcore App = ✔
Charging Port = USB-C
Playtime = 55H (ANC off), 40H (ANC on)
Fast Charging = 5 mins = 4 hours (same as all other models)
Connectivity = Bluetooth 5.3, AUX
Calls = 3 mics with AI algorithm
so I guess a question some might be asking is how does it compare to the Q35 which has dropped to $99 multiple times now?
a lot of sponsored youtube videos out there that just say "its great" but here is what I know from reading feedback.
Space one has an all plastic light weight build the lighter weight will feel comfortable but the fully plastic headband might not hold up well over time.
the sound is spacious and wide. if you like this its fine but some people say using the App's custom EQ you cant make it sound how most headphones sound which is "in your head". you can try your luck with the HearID feature though which seems to be a "auto EQ" thats applied after a listening test.
this is the first headphone from soundcore with the HearID feature.
ANC tested by Rtings shows the Q35 does much better at cancelling low frequency rumble so its more suitable for use on a bus or plane trip.
(Q35: -17.63 dB vs Space one: -9.29 dB) 8dB difference
Space one does a bit better in mid to high frequencies though so it will do better at home or making the sound of people talking quieter.
(-18.6 dB vs -23.94 dB, -30.22 dB vs -35.27 dB) only 5dB difference

Thanks for the comparison
