Pikmin 3 deluxe is my favourite, allows good couch co-op.
So disappointed to learn that Pikmin 4 coop reduces second player to just throwing rocks at monsters.
Excellent game, has a ton of content that will keep you or the kids occupied for a long time. At this price is a no brainer.

Nope. Unfortunately.
I think there is very meh co-op in some aspects; think Mario Galaxy 1/2 second player.
More a kid controller than true couch co-op.
Is this best played single player or coop/multi?

Is there decent Co-Op mode on that? Or is it only on pikmin 3?

No decent coop in Pikmin 4.
Pikmin 3 Deluxe got proper coop.
